Abstract

L'invention concerne un engrenage à variation continue pour transmettre un mouvement rotatif entre un arbre primaire et un arbre de sortie tournant dans le même sens. Ledit système comprend un cadre (3) apte à tourner coaxialement avec l'arbre primaire (2), au moins un second engrenage (5), dont l'arbre (7) est soutenu dans le cadre (3) et qui s'engrène avec un premier engrenage (4) monté sur l'arbre primaire, conjointement avec des moyens (10) permettant d'accoupler l'arbre (7) du second engrenage avec l'arbre de sortie (11). L'arbre primaire (2) et l'arbre (7) du second engrenage forment mutuellement un angle (v), ledit angle étant de préférence de 90 degrés, et le cadre est un support à angle droit. Dans un mode de réalisation préféré, un troisième engrenage (6) est monté sur l'arbre du deuxième engrenage (5) et s'engrène avec un quatrième engrenage (8) disposé sur un arbre (9), qui est soutenu dans le cadre (3), parallèlement à l'arbre (6).
