Abstract

L'invention concerne plusieurs émetteurs-récepteurs sans fil associés à des biens, chaque émetteur-récepteur étant affecté d'une désignation de classe représentative d'un attribut, d'une caractéristique, d'une relation ou d'un comportement du bien correspondant. Les routines de formation de réseaux en fonction de classes servent à établir des réseaux hiérarchiques sur la base de classes de biens, la classe de biens étant utilisée par chaque émetteur-récepteur pour cribler les communications destinées à des émetteurs-récepteurs de la même classe. Le réseau global de communications de données sans fil permet donc de réduire la consommation d'énergie et les interférences de signaux dans des applications de suivi de biens. Les émetteurs-récepteurs peuvent comprendre une routine de traitement de demandes permettant de former un système de base de données hiérarchique dynamiquement distribué. En outre, un émetteur-récepteur destinataire reçoit sélectivement des communications en provenance d'autres émetteurs-récepteurs locaux en émettant à des niveaux de puissance progressivement élevés vers des groupes successifs d'émetteurs-récepteurs et en ne recevant des transmissions de réponses que d'un nombre restreint d'émetteurs-récepteurs excluant les émetteurs-récepteurs dont des communications ont déjà été reçues.
