Abstract

An information carrier for preventing forgery having an intricate structure which can not be analyzed nor imitated easily and in which colors can be combined variously and different elements of information can be confirmed visually at the observation angle of a regular reflection region and a diffused light region. The information carrier has an information image area for indicating information and a background image area each of which is composed of a pixel pattern having a pixel density set for each brightness material and each color of coloring material. The pixel pattern is previously set, by color matching, such that the colors of the information image area and the background image area become isochromatic for the illumination light source at the observation angle of any one of the diffused light region or the regular reflection light region and become anisochromatic at other observation angle.
