Abstract

A iterate decode mothod for cascading block code and its special product code, the subcode decode of which is a syndrome decode bases on rows partly selected from the combined check matrix. The list decode algorithm efficiently produce a soft output, accordlingly enable the iterate decode mothod for cascading block code and its special product code. The design of the decoder may be compromisingly selective between the function and decode complexity. The character of the present invention is obtaining a desire error correction in a lower decode complexity.
