Abstract

A disposable female undergarment in the shape of a thong, combined with a pantiliner and sterilized, for the purpose of being worn for a short period of time (e.g. up to 24 hours) and then being disposed of, offering a big improvement to female personal hygiene as well as a great convenience in everyday life. Unlike the existing woven-fabric, washable and re-usable underwear, the disposable thong female undergarment is meant for single use and disposal. It replaces the undergarment and pantiliner and is sterilized, helping to protect against vaginal irritations and infections due to contact with detergent residue on the undergarment or bacteria that have not been ironed away.

Description

DISPOSABLE THONG FEMALE UNDERGARMENT
Description
A disposable female undergarment in the shape of a thong, combined with a pantiliner and sterilized, for the purpose of being worn for a short period of time (e.g. up to 24 hours) and then being disposed of, offering a big improvement to female personal hygiene as well as great convenience in everyday life.
Unlike the existing woven-fabric, washable and re-usable underwear, the disposable thong female undergarment is meant for a single use and disposal. It replaces the undergarment and pantiliner and is sterilized, helping to protect against vaginal irritations and infections due to contact with detergent residue on the undergarment, or bacteria that have not been ironed away.
The disposable female thong undergarment is made of low-cost non- woven, span-bond fabric the fibers of which are made of polypropylene It has a soft, cloth-like feel and can be of varying thickness (denieή for less or more opacity. Alternatively, another synthetic or natural material/fabric of similar qualities, of endurance, elasticity,, feel and Low production cos could be used The front and back parts of the undergarment are connected with elastic film, to form the shape of a thong undergarment For improved absorption of everyday vaginal fluids, a thong pantiliner or a similar absorbent breathable material or materials, is attached to the undergarment for improved absorption of everyday vaginal fluids. The two can be attached by hot-melt adhesive- binding another adhesive agent thermal point bonding sewing, stitching or an alternative method that would result, in an attachment of desirable, endurance,. The advantage of the disposable female thong undergarment is its single- 5 use purpose. The fact that it combines a pantiliner and is sterilized are additional advantages.
Figure , / shows the disposable- female- thong undergarment as it would be- seen from the front if held fully stretched out (normally, the elastic films I Q would cause it to curl up) and Figure 2, respectively, shows the back side.
Figure 3, shows the inside of the front part Figures 4 and- 5, show approximate measures for the making of a relatively small sized undergarment (In all of the Figures, the waist part of the elastic film is not shown stretched out).
15
The disposable- female- thong undergarment is composed of two main triangular parts, a front one (I) and a back one (2), made of non-woven, span-bond fabric with fibers of polypropylene. This material has a soft feel that resembles cotton fabric. It can vary in opacity depending on the 0 fabric's thickness (denier). Alternatively, another synthetic or natural material/fabric of similar qualities of endurance, elasticity, feel and low production cost could be used. For improved absorption of everyday vaginal fluids, on the low front part of the disposable female thong undergarment, either a pantyliner (8) in the shape of a thong is attached, or 5 a similar absorbent breathable material or materials.
Around the front and back parts of the undergarment (4), as well as to connect the two (5) and form a peripheral elastic band (6) to fit the female waist, there is elastic film between two thin layers of the non-woven fabric Q attached by hot-melt adhesive binding (alternatively by another adhesive agent thermal point bonding sewing, stitching or an alternative method that would result in attachment of the desirable endurance) before their attachment to the two main parts of the undergarment These elastic films are attached to the two main parts of the undergarment and to each other (7) by one of the aforementioned menthods.
We, therefore, have a disposable, sterilized (having been sterilized before or after its construction), thong undergarment and pantiliner in one article, to be used and thrown away. It can come in various sizes to fit different body types (figure 4). The disposable thong female undergarment can also come in diferent colors, solid or with imprinted or embossed designs.

Claims
5 I. Disposable female undergarment in the shape of a thong characterized by the fact that it combines a pantiliner, is sterilized, and made of low-cost non-woven, span-bond fabric, the fibers of which are made of polypropylene, a soft, cloth-like fabric that can be of varying thickness (denieή for less or more opacity. Alternatively, another synthetic 0 or natural material/fabric of similar qualities of endurance, elasticity, feel and low production cost could be used.
2. The disposable female thong undergarment, according to Claim I, is in the shape of a thong consisting of two main triangular parts, a front 5 one, and a much smaller one in the back. Around these two as well as to connect them and form a peripheral elastic band to fit the female waist, there is elastic Him between two thin layers of the non-woven fabric, attached by hot-melt adhesive binding (alternatively by another adhesive agent thermal point bonding sewing, stitching or an alternative method 0 that would result in attachment of the desirable endurance) before their attachment to the two main parts of the undergarment. These elastic films are attached to the two main parts of the undergarment and to each other by one of the aforementioned menthods.
5 3. According to Claim I, the disposable female thong undergarment is characterised by the fact that it has a thong pantiliner, or a similar absorbent breathable material or materials, attached to it for improved absorption of everyday vaginal fluids. The two can be attached by hot-melt adhesive binding, another adhesive agent thermal point bonding sewing, Q stitching or an alternative method that would result in an attachment of desirable endurance.
4. According to Claim I, the disposable female thong undergarment is characterised by the fact that it is sterilized, having been sterilized before or after its construction.
5. According to Claim I, the disposable female thong undergarment is characterised by the fact that rt is not necesary for rt to be sterilized.
