Best Mode for Carrying Out the Invention
The present invention will now be described in detail in connection with preferred embodiments with reference to the accompanying drawings. For reference, like reference characters designate corresponding parts throughout
several views.
As shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, a safety anti-theft device for a two-wheeled vehicle and a helmet, which is installed on the front portion of a vehicle body 1 and locks the helmet 3 conveniently to prevent a theft, includes a lock guide member 5 mounted on the front portion of the lower portion of an indicator panel part 4, which is formed on the front portion of the vehicle body 1, and locking the front portion of the helmet 3, which contains the indicator panel part 4, and helmet lock bunches 6 formed at both sides of the rear portion of the indicator panel part 4 and selectively fit and locked to butterfly-shaped locking holes 7 of the helmet 3, which contains the indicator panel part 4.
The indicator panel part 4 of the vehicle body 1 is to display traveling speed and engine rotational frequency of the vehicle body 1, and has a start key bunch 8 formed on the upper portion of the center of the indicator panel part 4. The indicator panel part 4 is smaller than an inner diameter of the helmet 3, so that an indicator panel and the start key bunch 8 are isolated from the outside when the helmet 3 is seated on the indicator panel part 4.
The lock guide member 5 is fixed to a head pipe 9 of the vehicle body 1 and protrudes from the lower portion of the indicator panel part 4 to the front portion, and thereby, a sun screen part of the helmet 3, which contains the indicator panel part 4, is supported and locked.
The helmet lock key bunches 6 are to prevent the theft of the helmet 3 located on the indicator panel part 4. The locking holes 7 of the helmet 3 are located at corresponding positions of the helmet lock key bunches 6 when the helmet 3 is located on the indicator panel part 4. After that, the helmet 3 is locked when the helmet lock key bunches 6 are rotated with a helmet locking key 10.
A head part of each helmet lock key bunch 6 locked to the locking hole 7 is
in the form of a butterfly, and slides on the outside of the indicator panel part 4 and protrudes from the outside of the indicator panel part 4 to be fit and locked to the locking holes 7.
In the first embodiment according to the present invention, the safety anti- theft device protects the helmet and the two-wheeled vehicle safely when a driver does not drives the two-wheeled vehicle. The lock guide member 5 is mounted on the head pipe 9 or a main pipe of the vehicle body 1, and the helmet lock key bunches 6 are formed on the indicator panel part 4 of the vehicle body 1, The locking holes 7 are formed in the helmet 3 at the corresponding positions of the helmet lock key bunches 6.
When the driver does not drive the vehicle body 1, the helmet 3 is located on the indicator panel part 4, and thereby, the indicator panel part 4 is contained to the inside of the helmet 3. At the same time that the helmet 3 is located on the indicator panel part 4, the sun screen part of the helmet 3 is located on the lock guide member 5. After the front portion of the helmet 3 is located on the lock guide member 5, the locking holes 7 of the helmet 3 are located at the corresponding positions to the lock key bunches 6. After the locking holes 7 are corresponded to the lock key bunches 6, the driver rotates the helmet lock key bunches 6 with the helmet locking key 10, and thereby, the head part of each helmet lock key bunch 6 is locked to a locking portion 7' of the locking hole 7.
When the helmet lock key bunches 6 are locked to the locking portions 7' of the locking holes 7, the indicator panel part 4 and the start key bunch 8 are contained in the inside of the helmet 3. As the result, it is possible to prevent the theft because the start key bunch 8 part is isolated from the outside by the helmet 3, and there is no need to carry about the helmet 3 when the two-wheeled vehicle is not driven because the helmet 3 is locked to the vehicle body 1.
In the above state, if the driver wants to drive the two-wheeled vehicle, the
driver rotates the helmet lock key bunch 6 with the helmet locking key 10 in an opposite direction, picks up the helmet 3, and then, inserts the start key into the start key bunch 8 to start an engine like the conventional way.
A second preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 6 and 7 referring to FIG. 5. As shown in the drawings, the safety anti-theft device, which is mounted on the rear portion of a vehicle body 1 and locks a helmet 3 conveniently to prevent the theft, includes a goods loading member 21 selectively rotated and mounted vertically on the rear portion of a cushion 20 of the vehicle body 1, and helmet lock key bunches formed at both sides of the goods loading member 21 and selectively fit and locked to butterfly-shaped locking holes 7 of the helmet 3, which contains an end of the goods loading member 21.
The goods loading member 21 can be changed from a horizontal condition to a vertical condition by a button 22. If the driver pushes the button 22 and rotates the goods loading member 21, the goods loading member 21 is changed to each position. Because a width of the goods loading member 21 is smaller than a size of the helmet 3, the helmet 3 can be positioned on the goods loading member 21.
The helmet lock key bunches 6 are to prevent the theft of the helmet 3 located on the goods loading member 21. When the helmet 3 is located on the goods loading member 21, the locking holes 7 of the helmet 3 are located at the corresponding positions of the helmet lock key bunches 6. After the locking holes 7 of the helmet 3 are located at the corresponding positions of the helmet lock key bunches 6, when the driver rotates the helmet lock key bunches 6 with a helmet locking key 10, the helmet 3 is locked. A head part of each helmet lock key bunch 6 locked to the locking hole 7 is in the form of a butterfly, and slides on the outside of the indicator panel part 4 and protrudes from the outside of the indicator panel part 4 to be fit and locked to
the locking holes 7.
In the second embodiment according to the present invention, the safety anti-theft device protects the helmet and the two-wheeled vehicle safely when a driver does not drives the two-wheeled vehicle. The goods loading member 21 is rotatably mounted on the rear portion of the cushion 20 of the vehicle body 1, the helmet lock key bunches 6 are formed at both sides of the goods loading member 21, and the locking holes 7 are formed in the helmet to correspond to the helmet lock key bunches 6.
When the vehicle body 1 is not driven, the helmet 3 is located on the goods loading member 21, and so, the end of the goods loading member 21 is contained inside the helmet 3. Before the helmet 3 is located on the goods loading member 21, the driver pushes a button 22 of the goods loading member 21, and at the same time, rotates the goods loading member 21 to stand the goods loading member 21. After the helmet 3 is located on the goods loading member 21, the user makes the locking holes 7 of the helmet 3 correspond to the helmet lock key bunches 6. After that, the driver rotates the helmet lock key bunches 6 with the helmet locking key 10 until the head parts of the helmet lock key bunches 6 are locked to locking parts 7' of the locking holes 7.
As described above, the present invention can prevent the theft of the helmet because the helmet is locked by locking the helmet lock key bunches 6 to the locking parts 7' of the locking holes 7, and there is no need to carry about the helmet 3 when the two-wheeled vehicle is not driven.
A third preferred embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIGS. 8 and 9 referring to FIG. 5. The safety anti-theft device, which is mounted on right and left sides of a cushion 20 of a vehicle body 1 in a length upwardly-adjustable way and locks the helmet 3 conveniently to prevent a theft, includes a lifting member 30 extending upwardly from a fixed part of the vehicle body 1 when the
helmet 3 is locked, and helmet lock key bunches 6 formed at both side ends of the lifting member 30 and selectively fit and locked to butterfly-shaped locking holes 7 of the helmet 3, which contains an end of the lifting member 30.
The lifting member 30 extends upwardly to an extent of a proper length by the driver's tension force. A width of the lifting member 30 is smaller than a size of the helmet 3, and so, the helmet 3 can be seated and fastened on the lifting member 30.
The helmet lock key bunches 6 are to prevent the theft of the helmet 3 located on the lifting member 30. When the helmet 3 is located on the lifting member 30, the locking holes 7 of the helmet 3 are located at corresponding positions of the helmet lock key bunches 6. After that, when the driver rotates the helmet lock key bunches 6 with a helmet locking key 10, the helmet 3 is locked.
A head part of each helmet lock key bunch 6 locked to the locking hole 7 is in the form of a butterfly, and slides on the outside of the indicator panel part 4 and protrudes from the outside of the indicator panel part 4 to be fit and locked to the locking holes 7.
In the third embodiment according to the present invention, the safety anti- theft device protects the helmet and the two-wheeled vehicle safely when a driver does not drives the two-wheeled vehicle. The lifting member 30 is mounted at right and left sides of the cushion 20 of the vehicle body 1 in a ascending and descending way, the helmet lock key bunches 6 are formed at both sides of the lifting member 30, and the locking holes 7 are formed in the helmet 3 corresponding to the helmet lock key bunches 6 to lock the helmet lock key bunches 6.
When the vehicle body 1 is not driven, the helmet 3 is located on the lifting member 30, and so, the end of the lifting member 30 is contained inside the
helmet 3. Before the helmet 3 is located on the lifting member 30, the lifting member 30 extends upwardly, and after the helmet 3 is located on the lifting member 30, the user makes the locking holes 7 of the helmet 3 correspond to the helmet lock key bunches 6. After that, the driver rotates the helmet lock key bunches 6 with the helmet locking key 10 until the head parts of the helmet lock key bunches 6 are locked to locking parts 7' of the locking holes 7.
As previously said, the present invention can prevent the theft of the helmet because the helmet is locked by locking the helmet lock key bunches 6 to the locking parts 7' of the locking holes 7, and there is no need to carry about the helmet 3 when the two-wheeled vehicle is not driven.
Industrial Applicability
As described above, the lock guide member is mounted on the head pipe of the vehicle body and the helmet lock key bunches are formed on the side of the indicator panel part, so that the helmet lock key bunches are locked to the locking holes of the helmet. As the result, when the two-wheeled- vehicle is not driven, the helmet is locked to the vehicle body and the start key bunch is isolated from the outside, so that the helmet and the two-wheeled vehicle can be protected safely. Furthermore, the present invention can solve the problem that the driver must carry about the helmet, because the helmet is locked to the vehicle body safely.
Moreover, because the goods loading member is rotatably mounted on the rear portion of the cushion of the vehicle body and the helmet lock key bunches are formed at both sides of the goods loading member to make the helmet lock key bunches be locked to the locking holes of the helmet, the present invention can protect the helmet safely by locking the helmet to the goods loading member of
the vehicle body when the two-wheeled vehicle is not driven.
Additionally, because the lifting member is mounted on right and left sides of the cushion of the vehicle body in an ascending and descending way and the helmet lock key bunches are formed at both sides of the lifting member to make the helmet lock key bunches be locked to the locking holes of the helmet, the present invention can protect the helmet safely by locking the helmet to the goods loading member of the vehicle body when the two-wheeled vehicle is not driven.
