Abstract

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Herstellen eines länglichen, vorzugsweise bandförmigen, (Bi, Pb)SCCO-Supraleiters vorgeschlagen, bei dem ein oxidisches Precursor-Pulver, das hauptsächlich eine tetragonale BSCCO-2212-Phase und eine Plumbat-Phase als Dotierstoff enthält, verwendet wird. Dieses oxidische Precursor-Pulver wird in eine Hülle eingebracht, die aus einer Edelmetalllegierung besteht, in der zwischen ungefähr 0,5 und ungefähr 4 Atom% eines Unedelmetalls gelöst sind. Das aus Precursor-Pulver und Hülle bestehende Leitervorprodukt wird einer Glühung unterzogen in einer Schutzgasatmosphäre mit niedrigen Sauerstoffanteil. Die bei der Glühung stattfindende Phasenumwandlung der tetragonalen BSCCO-2212-Phase in eine orthorhombische, bleidotierte (Bi, Pb)SCCO-2212-Phase ist von einer Freisetzung von Sauerstoff begleitet, der zu einer inneren Oxidation der Edelmetallhülle führt. Die dabei entste- hende dispersionsgehärtete Hülle weist mehrere Vorteile bei der anschliessenden thermomechanischen Behandlung auf.
