Abstract

The invention relates to a method of producing decorative figures and pinatas made from recycled card and paper using a high-vacuum chamber. Said chamber comprises a metallic tank (1) which is fitted with (i) a pressure-measuring device (2), (ii) an exhaust valve (3) and (iii) a stopcock (4) which is used to release the water extracted during the process. Said tank is connected to a vacuum pump (6) by means of a tube or hose (7) and an air filter (8). The inventive method involves the use of different-shaped fibreglass or perforated metal moulds (5) which are screwed to metal covers (9) and held in place by metallic straps (10). Moreover, said moulds are provided with a rubber gasket (11) to prevent air leaks. The method of producing said decorative figures consists in: fixing the mould (5) to the vacuum chamber; locking said mould in position with the band or strap (10), thereby applying pressure to the cover (9) and closing off the exhaust valve and stopcock; switching on the vacuum pump and rubbing the mould with a release product or covering same with a piece of moist, permeable cloth, thereby fixing the paste to said surface. Subsequently, the vacuum is applied thereto, with a piece of plastic attached to the paste in order to stimulate the suction effect. Once the figure has been obtained, the plastic is removed, the cloth is taken off and a matched mould, made from a perforated material, is put in place, opening the exhaust valve and stopcock. The subsequent stage involves the drying of the figures in a kiln and the assembly and decoration thereof.

Description

ELABORADAS CON UNA CÁMARA DE ALTO VACIO.MADE WITH A HIGH VACUUM CHAMBER.
ANTECEDENTES DE LA INVENCIÓNBACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
At present, piñatas and traditional decorative figures made from clay pitcher or plaster or ceramic or mache paper and various types of colorful papers adorning these, are more complicated in their elaboration. As you can think, this type of procedure increases the time and cost of the product, which is also increasing by the labor required to glue so many pieces of premium paper on the base of the piñatas and decorative figures.
In order to suppress these and other inconveniences, the development of the present piñatas and decorative figures with a well-defined exterior view and unlimited sizes in length, width and depth of recycled paper and cardboard such as bowling, masks, masks, was considered. hats, frames with reliefs or three-dimensional, animals, inviolable decorative packaging with exterior view, among others, made with the high vacuum chamber and a release agent such as cream or oil or preferably a wet elastic fabric of commercial polyester and molds, which is It intends to protect by means of this application. Well, it is about making this product in a faster, cheaper, good presentation, better quality and recycled paper and cardboard and at the same time contribute to the protection of the environment since much of this material is burned and / or thrown to the trash affecting our atmosphere and is an ecological product since it is again recycled and biodegradable. Comparing with patent application GB2246737 A, which refers to using a screwed or fast-release clamping plate, around the cover of the former fixing an elastic woven material and this is limited by shores to which the material is hugged by means of which the cover is not perforated during fixation with the former and that the former is made of an empty material and with this system they only make small pulp molds, which are used for Packaging of fragile items to protect them against impacts on their transportation and apparently they are limited figures in size with soft internal and non-external figures, do not use against molds and non-decorative as we apply.

With reference to these figures, the process for making the piñatas and decorative figures of recycled paper and cardboard requires a high vacuum chamber, which is formed by a metallic cylindrical tank or any other rigid form or material (No.1) This is made of the size that the figure requires, it has a bachometer (No.2) to measure inches Hg. vacuum, an exhaust valve (No.3), a stopcock (No.4) to discharge the water extracted from the pulp of paper and recycled cardboard.
It also requires a paste that consists of 6% to 30% recycled paper and cardboard and 70% to 94% water depending on the consistency that is required, this material is what we recycle thus contributing to the environment and ecology since this is again recycled and biodegradable.
On the other hand, some molds (No.5) of variable shapes and measures are required, depending on the shape you want to give to the piñata and decorative figure, which can be made of fiberglass or metal or another type of rigid drilled material with a drill bit of approximately 1/16 "in the form of a strainer (No.5A), this so that the flow of water is extracted from the paste quickly, in turn the molds (No.5) are screwed to some covers of metal or any rigid material (No.9) and to prevent them from becoming detached or broken if they were made of fiberglass, they are fastened with metal straps (No.12) shown in Fig. 2, Fig. 3 and Fig. 4.
The molds are placed on top of the tank (No.1), which is connected to a vacuum pump (No.6) by means of a high vacuum tube or hose (No.7) and an air filter (No.8). Once you have the mold (No.5) you put a rubber gasket (No.11) so that it prevents vacuum air leaks, then it is mounted to the tank (No.1) at the top, then it is place the metal strap (No.10) to press the cover (No.9) with the tank (No.1) so that it helps us quickly achieve the vacuum, the exhaust valve (No.3) is closed and the water stopcock (No.4), the vacuum pump is turned on (No.6), it can be spread or put on cream or oil or so that it gives us a finished piece of cloth (No.26) wet of commercial polyester permeable slightly larger than the mold requires (No.5), as mold release agents, shown in Fig. 13 in the case of the fabric, we wait for it to adhere to the mold (No.5) by means of vacuum , the fabric is arranged so that it does not wrinkle as shown in Fig. 14. The paper and cardboard pulp (No.28) is added covering the entire surface of the mold (No.5). In the case of the fabric (No.26) the rest of the same is placed inside the mold (No.5), later a plastic (No.27) of a thin caliber may or may not be placed depending on the capacity of the vacuum pump on top of the paste (No.28) and the fabric (No.26) that are attached to the mold (No.5) as shown in Fig. 15 and thus achieve the required vacuum, which should be from 20 "to 35" Hg. of vacuum for fiberglass molds and more if they are made of metal, this to give a better pressing and consistency to the paste (No.28), thus managing to mold the decorative figures with a well defined exterior view, done this step remove the plastic (No.27) if it was placed on the paste (No.28), the rest of the fabric is removed (No.26) and put a counter mold of fiberglass or polyurethane or mesh or other type of material (No.23 and 24) perforated (No.25) to help us hold firm decorative pieces with a well defined exterior view of wet cardboard, since these can be of unlimited sizes in length, width and depth depending on how the client requires it, and at the same time it helps us to dry faster, the perforation (No.25) of the counter mold (No.23 and 24) gives us greater ventilation. The exhaust valve (No.3) and the water stopcock (No.4) are opened so that the excess water that was extracted from the paste comes out, then the rest of the water is taken by hand or mechanically the remaining fabric (No.26) so that it facilitates us to remove the already molded decorative pieces as shown in Fig. 16, then the fabric is removed (No.26) to reuse it. However, the decorative piece (No.13 and 14) still in the counter molds (No.23 and 24) are still wet, so you have to go to a drying oven or a patio discovered in the sun.
(No.16A). Using the piñata and inviolable packaging for bottles as an example, their already dried parts (No.13 and 14) are removed from the counter molds (No.23 and 24) as shown in Fig. 6 and Fig. 12; in the case of the pieces of the piñata (No.13 and 14) a semicircle cut is made (No.16) a cardboard reinforcement is glued around it to give it greater strength, when joining both pieces of the piñata (No.13 and 14) with glue or silicone a circle of approximately 20 cm remains. (No.16A). 4 perforations (N0.I6B) are drilled around said hole (N0.I6A) and a rope (No.15) is used as a hanger as shown in Fig. 7, Fig. 8 and Fig. 11 subsequently it is repaired in the union of both pieces of piñatas and / or inviolable packaging (No.13 and 14) with another paste based on recycled paper and cardboard, cement, sealant and water. Turning again to another drying oven or patio discovered in the sun, once the piñatas or decorative figures are dried Fig. 7 they pass to a white paint anchorage with sealant and from there to the final decoration managing to make our novel piñata as shown in Fig. 8 and Fig. 11.
Another form of piñatas Fig. 9, Fig. 10 and Fig. 11 is to make another hole in the bottom (No.17) of about 15 cm. at 25 cm in diameter in which a paper or cardboard cover or other material (No.18) of 2 cm is glued with silicone. larger than the hole (No.17) and with slats of various colors that can be made of paper or plastic or 50 cm cloth. at 80 cm long (No.19) ranging from 10 to 19 slats woven into the lid (No.18) with a simple knot (No.20) so that it easily detaches when stretched, on each of these slats (No.19 ) has a child punishment, included in a list of instructions that we elaborate, it also has 1 or 2 strips of cloth (No.21) tied to a wooden stick or plastic of 14 cm. at 23 cm long (No.22) and glued with silicone to the lid (No.18) as shown in Fig.10 being inside the piñata Fig.9, this ribbon (No.21) with a firm pull will be the one who detaches the cover (No.18) of the surprise piñata Fig. 11, releasing the surprise it contains (candies, fruit, toys, etc.). This same surprise piñata can be used as a decorative piece or costume mask once piercing the eye area.
With this procedure you have the advantage that piñatas and decorative figures with a well-defined exterior view and unlimited sizes in length, width and depth are manufactured faster, greater quantity, with less labor, better quality, economic, good presentation, of recycled paper and cardboard, contributing to improve the environment and ecology, our product we manufacture is made of recycled material and therefore is biodegradable, we acquire this material that in many cases is thrown away or burned; This material is collected by the people of the population thus creating a new attitude and awareness in addition to indirect work collecting this material.
The method for making piñatas and decorative figures with well defined exterior views and unlimited sizes in length, width and depth of recycled paper and cardboard with the help of a high vacuum chamber, characterized by the following stages:
A vacuum chamber is required, which consists of a metal tank of unlimited size as required by the figure of any shape or rigid material, has a baometer to measure the inches Hg. vacuum, an exhaust valve that helps us regulate the vacuum, a stopcock to discharge the water extracted from the pulp of recycled paper and cardboard, a vacuum pump, which is connected to the tank by a hose or tube high vacuum, an air filter for the pump and a metal strap to press the tank with the mold cover.
b) Se requiere de moldes ilimitados de tamaños, los cuales se caracterizan de unas figuras decorativas de vistas exteriores bien definidas tales como piñatas, bolos, máscaras, antifaces, sombreros, marcos con relieves o tridimensionales, animales y empaques decorativos inviolables o cualquier otras formas ilimitadas, hechos de metal o fibra de vidrio taladrados en forma de una coladera con una broca de 1/16" atornillado a una tapadera metálica o de otro material rígido que no se rompa, un empaque de hule para evitar fugas de aire y unos flejes metálicos para evitar que el molde se despegue o quebrar si este fuese de fibra de vidrio. c) Se requiere de una pasta hecha de un 6% a un 30% de papel y cartón reciclado y un 70% a 94% de agua dependiendo de la consistencia requerida para elaborar la pasta.b) Unlimited molds of sizes are required, which are characterized by decorative figures of well defined exterior views such as piñatas, bowling, masks, masks, hats, frames with reliefs or three-dimensional, animals and inviolable decorative packaging or any other forms unlimited, made of metal or fiberglass drilled in the form of a strainer with a 1/16 "drill bit screwed to a metal cover or other rigid material that does not break, a rubber gasket to prevent air leaks and strapping metal to prevent the mold from peeling or breaking if it is made of fiberglass. c) A paste made from 6% to 30% recycled paper and cardboard and 70% to 94% water is required depending on the consistency required to make the paste.
Se abre la válvula de escape y la llave de paso de agua para que suelte la presión y saque el agua que se extrajo de la pasta se toma con las manos o en forma mecánica el resto de la tela sobrante para que nos facilite sacar la piezas moldeadas aún húmedas que se obtienen junto con el contra molde, este nos ayuda a mantener firme la pieza decorativa evitando que se deforme ya que muchas piezas pueden ser muy grandes y nos ayude en el secado.d) Once these materials are obtained (chamber, mold and paste), the way to make the piñatas and decorative figures of exterior view well defined and of limited size in length and depth, the mold is placed with its packaging the vacuum chamber and the metal strap is placed by pressing the lid with the tank to avoid leaks of vacuum air, the exhaust valve and the water stopcock are closed, the vacuum pump is turned on, smeared or creamy or oil or to give us a smooth finish a piece of elastic and permeable commercial wet polyester fabric larger than the size of the mold, as release agents, in the case of the fabric we wait for it to adhere to the mold by means of vacuum and place the fabric in a way that does not form wrinkles later the paste is added covering the entire surface, once the entire mold has been covered with the paste and the most water is extracted from it, the rest of the remaining fabric is placed towards dent ro of the mold depending on the capacity of the engine may or may not put a plastic of a thin caliber on the paste that is already attached to the mold so that it quickly achieves the required vacuum, approximately 20 "to 35" Hg. of vacuum for fiberglass molds and more if these are made of metal or other rigid material, this to give a greater press and consistency to the paste figure, thus managing to mold the desired well-defined exterior decorative figure, once this step is done the plastic is removed if this was the case and the fabric that had been placed inside is removed, a fiberglass or polyurethane or mesh or other perforated material mold is placed. The exhaust valve and the water stopcock is opened so that it releases the pressure and removes the water that was extracted from the paste, it is taken with the hands or mechanically the rest of the remaining fabric so that it facilitates us to remove the pieces molded still wet that are obtained together With the counter mold, this helps us to keep the decorative piece firm, preventing it from becoming deformed since many pieces can be very large and help us in drying.
The decorative pieces with an exterior and well-defined view of a dry capon are removed from the counter molds, in the case of the pieces of the piñatas, a 10 cm semicircle is cut at the top. in diameter and a cardboard reinforcement is glued in this area to give it more firmness, both front and back pieces are glued with silicone or glue and 4 perforations are drilled with a drill around the hole that is left at the top to later put a rope To serve as a hanger then it is resuscitated with another recycled paper and cardboard paste, sealant, cement and water at the junction of both pieces, the pinata and inviolable decorative packaging being formed. Regarding the elaboration of the surprise piñata and seeing the problem of some companies that handle cartoon characters and that can make piñatas and at the same time they do not want their figures to be hit and seeing the problem of space and accident prevention in some buildings and in children, which consists of making another hole in the bottom of the piñata, in which a paper or cardboard cover or other material of about 15 cm is glued with silicone. to 20 cm in diameter, with 10 to 19 slats of various colors that can be made of paper or plastic or cloth, about 50 to 80 cm. long that they are simply knotted to the lid, so that they easily detach when they are stretched, each ribbon has a punishment, included in a list of instructions that we ourselves elaborate; It also has one or two slats of cloth tied to a wooden or plastic stick of about 14 cm. at 23 cm long with silicone attached to the lid on the inside of the piñata, this ribbon with a firm pull will be the that detaches the lid of the piñata, thus releasing the surprise it contains (sweets, fruits, toys, etc.). This same piñata can be used as a decorative figure, mask for disguise once the eye area is perforated.
g) Una vez terminado el armado de la piñata y las figuras decorativas se fondean con pintura blanca y sellador; de ahí pasan al decorado logrando así nuestra novedosa piñata y figuras decorativas con vista exterior bien definidas y de tamaños ilimitados en largo, ancho y profundidad.g) Once the assembly of the piñata is finished and the decorative figures are anchored with white paint and sealant; from there they move on to the decoration thus achieving our innovative piñata and decorative figures with a well defined exterior view and unlimited sizes in length, width and depth.
