Abstract

Cette installation comprend: des moyens de compression principale d'air (3) entraînés par des turbines (4); N(N>l) appareils de distillation d'air (8) produisant de l'oxygène liquide et/ou de l'azote liquide; au moins une pompe (9) de pompage de l'oxygène liquide et/ou de l'azote liquide à au moins une haute pression; et des moyens de compression secondaire (10) adaptés pour comprimer un fluide calorigène servant à vaporiser ce(s) liquide(s). Les moyens (10) de compression secondaire sont entraînés par des moteurs électriques (11), et une turbine auxiliaire (12) entraîne un alternateur (13) alimentant ces moteurs en courant électrique. Application à l'alimentation en oxygène et/ou en azote haute pression des unités de production d'hydrocarbures synthétiques (2).
