- a module like structure is provided to a location to be secured featuring secret entry and exit design construction and means and suitable to be in location visible to the public and where it can provide clear vision for security purposes from the module (of the secured area).
- the module may in particular be self contained for air supply and security.
- the module is arranged and positioned
- the module is arranged and positioned able to be driven up to or under by a purpose made vehicle to service the module, so that from the vehicle a person or persons - ie, a guard can enter and exit t e module secretly and return from the module to the vehicle, also secretly.
- the module may be inside a shop, vehicle or building and entry or exit can be by a door or other type opening on a side not visible to the secured area and public.
- the entry or exit can be both via secret openings and means to deceive manning or by visible openings and means when it is intended to have a guard in attendance at all times.
- the module has an electronic or other similar type surrounding the contractor module protecting field and warning signs advising security housing and no access to the module or surrounds is attended. The 'shield' only able to be passed by approved persons such as guards.
- the module has seating, sleeping, food storage and cooking equipment, security cameras, telephone and such like connections, and where needed safe from contaminating air and water supply which can be inside the module.
- the module is used in one location, and has a similar module at at least one other location.
- a vehicle is purpose made to provide a suitable vehicle for secretly delivering and removing security guards from the modules.
- the vehicle specifically travelling often from one module to at least a second and back again, preferably with a continuous cycle, thereby to provide 'security' enhanced by being deceptive to a thief as to the manning of the module.
- the vehicle transporting at least one guard, between first and second modules and the entering or exiting of a guard to or from the module is a secret
- Many modules can be so serviced by just one person.
- movement or noise of a person in a module is covered or kept hard to detect or is used displays a virtual guard in attendance.
- the module has armour proof preferably one way outward vision glass exterior or windows, or one or more visible cameras are used in place of glass or windows or as well linked to an internal screen, able to be viewed by the guard.
- the cameras are linked to a central and control base or second module, or the service vehicle or police.
- the module is of a size suitable to accommodate at least one person and is positioned for example outside of a bank or in the front of a shop.
- the module base high enough to allow a service vehicle to be driven underneath so a person can enter or exit the module via the roof of the van, connected to the underside of the module and do so in secret, or the module can be used over a portion of a road.
- the module provided with a fast to exit position ladder or exit means to the ground for the guard should and when he needs to exit or enter independent to the service vehicle when the module is of the elevated placement.
- the service vehicle When the module is placed at street level in order to more easily transfer guards the service vehicle preferably reverses backwards up to an entry and exit connection in the module.
- the connection being a matching height to suit the vehicle.
- connection In all operations when required the transfer of the guard into or out of the module is done in secret by use of the connection from the vehicle to the module.
- the connection may be of a telescopic or flexible nature, with respect to providing easy safe connection without damaging the vehicle or the module and to making the connection possible when the vehicle cannot reach the module.
- At least one module may be placed at a street location to secure the street, buildings, houses or shops, airports or vehicle by simply being a theft deterrent, and is unmanned.
- the module preferably in one embodiment is of a blending in to the area or environment design and on areas nature except for identification as a guard housing.
- more than one module is provided and a service vehicle, the one moving the person or guard, moves back and forward from one module to a second, connecting and disengaging to a particular module, and in some instances not necessarily placing or removing a guard.
- the object of which is to confuse or deter a potential member of the public or a thief by concealing whether the module is manned or not.
- a building such as an airport the vehicle being suitable for inside use, and by which means also security guards can leave the module to eat or visit a bathroom (in secret).
- the modules empty.
- Cameras provided to a base give some security. Such cameras connecting to the service vehicle and the driver acts consequently as the guard, or to a command center or residence.
- more than one service vehicle is provided and the service vehicle is left parked under or against the module. The vehicle moved by a second vehicle providing a second driver or the guard in the module. By the use of a second vehicle deception as to manning is extended. In all cases when required the number of people (guards) with vehicle is concealed.
- the security system by this invention may be for use for residents in hospitals, houses and such like, and can be unobtrusive and compact in design and built to serve other purposes such as to house an A.T.M.
- modules provided inside a gate or at the door, or at any other area around a building, such as a house, or inside a building.
- the modules manned and unmanned secretly by a vehicle or by entry in the dark or by a secret entry and connection into a house, building room, or vehicle.
- a motor vehicle marked as a police vehicle or a private security company vehicle having prevention of observation from outside into the vehicle and or the windows darkening is provided for use in a similar manner to the module, the vehicle having a specialised entry and exit connection to a service vehicle, a service vehicle similar to as described to service the modules.
- a guard may be seen leaving a module but a thief does not know whether or not there is another guard remaining in the module and a device may be provided in the module which simulates the noise, even speech and such like suggesting the module is occupied or images can be displayed of a guard, (shadows on a window or door).
- the alert is to the central command, police or other similar assistance, or and to the secret service vehicle, and or to similar and other security modules in other locations.
- conventional police vehicles may have an added secret entry connection facility to the vehicle and in the course of their normal operations, when they are cruising and not on alert, they may pretend to be providing a guard for a module.
- the module is of a size able to provide high quality personal comfort needs. The intent is to provide a much improved environment when compared to the present stand in front of a building. Ram raid preventing barriers may be provided in front of or around the guard module, the guard module may during the day time when security is not needed retract into the ground underneath, or move into a recess into a building or otherwise be moved so the environment is not visually impaired.
- the module may connect or be added to neighbourhood watch system, and local residents provide by secret entry and exit and as a guard to the module.
- the entry and exit means in this case may be from behind the module or by a secret passage into a building or from underground, under street or through a garden or such like.
- a similar type model may be used by military, civil defence whereby whether the module is manned or not as an observation post for example is kept a secret, h one embodiment the module may be near an ATM (automatic teller machine) on the street.
- the module connected to the machine electronically and the guard or system can be alerted by the machine of an attempt of theft
- the guard is alerted and apprehension of the suspect can be made by the guard or by an automatic capturing or restraining device such as a net or gas.
- the module can also house public telephones on an outside portion.
- multiples of the modules can be placed at a large gathering area such as a football stadium, and entry into an exit out of the module can be from underneath (from under a stadium seating area).
- the module guards able to detect trouble makers but the guards are protected.
- the module in any location is fire, gas, and resistance to easy damage is easy. Entry proof.
- the module in such a sports venue may be staffed by at least one guard to each module, the staffing carried out in full view of the public; the guards may remain for the duration of the event or leave openly or via the secret exit.
- the module is positioned in the bank wall and has interior and exterior exit and entry connections, in this embodiment the doors to the module are of such as high strength bank type build and locks.
- the increase n the security of the connections for entry and exit to the bank allowing an armoured vehicle to use the module for delivering or removal of money to the bank with greater safety (by the transfer being into the module first and then when the module is locked into the bank.
- the invention therefore is a device able to conceal and house comfortably and securely a security guard or guards or police etc is provided to an area, a vehicle or other means to connect and disconnect and to secretly able to move a guard either into or out of thereby or to appear to be, to provide greater security whilst keeping low the number of guards needed, by deceptive and confusing thieves.
- the guard when in the module secures the area and in some instances does not disclose his presence in the case of a crime, but calls for help, thereby still keeping manning secret. Variations may be made to the invention by those skilled in the art without departing from the principle of the invention, such as the guard may have any type of extra comfort/ facility in the module, not possible for him when he is just standing around and has no base, such as even extra work, such as even acting as a call center operator. Thereby reducing cost and overcoming boredom, the module is adapted to alert the guard without the guard needing to be watching, intently of an intruder. Night vision means a feature of the system.
- the invention is now disclosed with reference to illustrations:
- Fig l illustration 10 shows a guard module from a front side perspective.
- illustration 14 is of a door
- illustration 16 is of windows.
- Illustration 18 is of a base to the module and illustration 20 is of the modules markings.
- the module of Fig 1,2,3,4, represents one example of a secretly manned guard house or module, showing a door 14, prov ided with secure lock 30 and one way viewing when needed windows 12.
- Illustration 40 is of a video camera (real or mock) that preferably rotates and covers the area around the module being secured.
- Illustration 18 is of a base, and that base may slide onto and off from locking securely to the floor or ground means (not shown).
- a service vehicle (not shown) approaches close to the module 10 and joins onto the module 10 and after connecting door 14 slides or moves open and a guard may leave or enter the module secretly. The door 14 then closes and the vehicle disconnects and drives away or parks nearby.
