Abstract

Ce procédé permet à une unité (1) mobile de communiquer en temps réel avec un serveur (6) d'applications résidant à l'extérieur de son réseau (2) mobile. Une charge utile de données est transmise dans un message au moyen d'une chaîne unique de demande de fonction réseau USSD (données de service non structurées). Un HLR/VLR (3) achemine immédiatement le message vers un serveur (4) d'accès situé dans le réseau (2). Le serveur (4) d'accès transmet à son tour immédiatement la demande au serveur (6) d'applications. L'acheminement des applications est déterminé par une charge utile du message et non par le contenu du code d'accès. Ce procédé permet d'utiliser le mécanisme de demande de fonction réseau en tant que canal de transport de données généralisé dans les interactions complexes point à point entre une unité mobile et un serveur externe. La complexité des interactions n'est limitée que par la charge XML des messages ou de la chaîne de messages.
