Abstract

The invention relates to a method for sending electronic messages (28, 34) between two communication end points (10, 20), especially between fixed network devices and mobile telephony terminals, one of the two communication points (20) comprising a more restrictive addressing system than the other. The inventive method comprises the following steps: the electronic message (28) is addressed to the other respective communication point (20); the electronic message (28) is transmitted to a transmission system (16); the electronic message (28, 34) is converted by means of the transmission system (16) in such a way that the other respective communication point (10, 20) can process the electronic message (30, 38); and the electronic message (30, 38) is sent to the other communication point (10, 20) by means of the transmission system (16).
