Description

  DETACHABLE TYPE ROLLER SKATE CAPABLE OF PREVENTING BACKWARD
MOTION
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a detachable type roller skate capable of preventing a backward motion, and in particular to a detachable roller skate capable of preventing a backward motion in which it is possible to prevent a backward motion in a slanted surface and freely adjust a lengthwise and widthwise size, so that it is possible to stably and economically use a roller skate irrespective of a foot size of a user by providing a plurality of rollers and brake rollers in a lower portion of a body of a roller skate and size-adjustable left and right plate members, front and rear plate units and a binding band,

   whereby a detachable type skate capable of preventing a backward motion is well adapted as an exercise instrument as well as a short-distance transportation unit.

   2. Description of the Background Art
Generally, a roller skate is widely used as a leisure and sports gear for kids and adults by installing a plurality of rollers in the lower surfaces of certain shaped shoes, so that it operates on the ground for thereby obtaining a certain exercise effect.

   Recently, the above roller skate is designed to be used for obtaining a simple exercise effect and to be used as a leisure and sports gear as well as a short-distance moving unit.

   Namely, a user stores the roller skate in a bag and uses the same if necessary.

   However, the above conventional roller skate has a disadvantage in that it takes a long time for changing the shoes with a roller skate for use. So, it is very inconvenient for use.

   Therefore, in order to overcome the above-described problems, a detachable roller skate is disclosed in the Korean Patent Laid-open No. 20010009771. The above conventional detachable roller skate is capable of directly putting on the roller skate under the shoes for thereby decreasing a time required for changing the roller skate with the shoes and enhancing a convenience. The above conventional detachable roller skate includes a body having a plurality of rollers and brakes, a semi-circular front portion, a rear portion capable of supporting a rear end of a foot, leather stripes for binding the shoes and a support member for protecting an ankle of the user.

   However, the above detachable roller skate is fabricated based on a previously determined size matching with the size of the foot of the user. Therefore, if the conventional detachable roller skate is used for a user having a different foot size, a shoe wearing feel is bad. In addition, in the case that other users use the conventional detachable roller skate having a different foot size, it is impossible to use the same. Therefore, the user must buy his own roller skate for thereby increasing the cost.

   In addition, since the conventional roller skate does not have a function for preventing a reverse rotation of the rollers, it is possible to use on the flat ground, but it is impossible to use on the slanted ground. In this case, when a user runs on the slanted ground and tries by applying a certain force to his grounded roller skate, the user may be backwardly slipped, so that it is impossible to run in the forward direction on the slanted ground. When the user is slipped down, the user may be damaged.

  SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a detachable type roller skate capable of preventing a backward motion which is capable of preventing a backward motion on a slanted ground surface and freely adjusting the lengthwise and widthwise sizes, so that a user uses a roller skate irrespective of the foot size of a user for thereby implementing an economic use of the roller skate.

   To achieve the above objects, there is provided a detachable type roller skate capable of preventing a backward motion which includes a front plate unit in which a slanted female threaded portion is formed in a plate-shaped upper center portion, a male threaded portion having an elongated hole is formed in one side, and an insertion groove is formed at both side surfaces; a rear member in which a female threaded portion corresponding to the male threaded portion is formed in one side, and a side wall having a plurality of insertion grooves is formed in an outer circumferential surface; a left and right fixing plate member in which a male threaded portion corresponding to the female threaded portion of the front member is formed in one side, and a side wall having an engaging groove is formed in the other side;

   a front roller portion in which a front roller is installed in both sides of a rotary shaft having a plurality of male threaded portions each having a certain slanted angle, a female threaded portion corresponding to a male threaded portion of the rotary shaft is formed in one side, an insertion portion having an insertion hole is formed in the other side, and a stopper having a certain length is formed on the upper portion of the rotary shaft, and the front roller portion is installed below the front plate unit;

   a rear roller portion in which a rear roller is installed at both sides of the rotary shaft having a plurality of male threaded portions each slanted at a certain angle, a female threaded portion corresponding to a male threaded portion of the rotary shaft is formed in one side, an insertion portion having an insertion hole is formed in the other side, and a stopper is installed in an upper portion of the rotary shaft, and the rear roller portion is installed below the rear plate unit;

   a brake roller formed in the same circular shape as the front and rear rollers, in which a rubber braking portion is attached on an outer circumferential surface, an elongated hole is formed in the center portion of the side plate at a certain slanted angle, a shaft is inserted into the elongated hole, and the brake roller is installed just behind the rear roller for thereby providing a braking force; and a binding band formed of binding clips and having an adjustable length.

   As shown in Figure 1, the front plate unit 2 is positioned at a front end of a shoe 100 and is formed in a certain plate shape and includes a certain thickness.

  A protrusion 200 having an engaging hole 204 is formed in the center portion of the upper surface of the same. The female threaded portions 10 are formed in the left and right sides and are opposite each other in such a manner that the slanted surface 12 having a certain angle is formed in an outer direction. The male threaded portion 14 includes an elongated hole 4 formed in the center portion and having a certain length and is integrally formed in the low surface of the rear portion. An insertion groove 8 is formed at both side surfaces. An engaging hole 102 having a lower portion to which the insertion portion 46 of the front stopper 42 is engaged, is formed in one side, and the front roller engaging portion 104 having the engaging hole 103 into which the engaging shaft 35 of the front roller 36 is inserted, is formed in the other side.

   At this time, as shown in Figure 1, the female threaded portion 10 and the male threaded portion 14 are formed in multiple numbers in such a manner that one side of each of the same has a slanted surface 12 and the other side of each of the same has a vertical surface.

   The rear plate unit 16 is positioned in the rear portion of the bottom of the shoe 100 and is formed of a plate shape and includes a certain thickness. The rear female threaded portions 11 are formed in the left and right sides in an opposite direction in such a manner that the surface slanted at a certain angle is formed in an outer direction. The front female threaded portion 22 includes a plurality of threaded portions each slanted at a certain angle for corresponding with the male threaded portion 14 of the front plate unit 2 and is formed in the front upper surface. An insertion groove 9 is formed at both side surfaces. An engaging hole 112 into which the insertion portion 82 of the rear stopper 84 is inserted, is formed at both sides of the same.

   The rear roller engaging portion 114 having the engaging hole 113 into which the engaging shaft 75 of the rear roller 76 is inserted, is formed in the other side.

   At this time, the female threaded portion 22 of the rear plate unit 16 is positioned below the male threaded portion 14 of the front plate unit 2, and the insertion hole 5 and the elongated hole 24 are arranged, and the bolt 11 and the nut 13 are engaged using the engaging member 15, so that the front plate unit 2 and the rear plate unit 16 are fixed at a certain length.

   The front side left and right fixing plate members 26 and 29 are formed in the plate shape threaded with the front plate unit 2. An elongated hole 4 is formed, and the male threaded portion 32 corresponding to the female threaded portion 10 of the front plate unit 2 is formed in a lower surface of one side. A side wall 28 having an engaging groove 30 formed in a lengthy direction is formed in the other side.

   The rear side left and right fixing members 21 and 23 are formed in the plate shape threaded with the rear plate unit 16. An elongated hole 7 is formed, and the male threaded portion 27 corresponding to the female threaded portion 11 of the rear plate unit 16 is formed in a lower surface of one side, and a side wall 18 having an engaging groove 20 formed in a lengthy direction is formed in the other side.

   In the front roller portion 34, the front rollers 36 are installed at both sides of the rotary shaft 38 in which a plurality of male threaded portions 40 each having a certain slanted angle are formed. The female threaded portion 44 corresponding to 'the male threaded portion 40 of the rotary shaft 38 are formed in one side, and the insertion portion 46 having the insertion protrusion 48 is formed in the other side. A front stopper 42 having a certain length is installed in the upper portion of the rotary shaft 38. The front roller portion 34 is installed below the front plate unit 2.

   In addition, the bearing 208 is installed in a side surface of the front roller 36, and an engaging shaft 35 is protruded from the center portion of the same.

   At this time, as shown in Figure 1, the male threaded portion 40 of the rotary shaft 38 is formed in such a manner that the slanted surfaces of the threaded portions are formed in the forward direction. The female threaded portion 44 of the front stopper 42 is positioned on the upper portion of the same. When the roller skate 1 runs in a forward direction, the normal rotation of the front rollers 34 are not affected. When the roller skate 1 runs in a backward direction, the female threaded portion 44 of the front stopper 42 is engaged with the male threaded portion 40 of the rotary shaft 38 for thereby generating a braking effect.

   In the rear roller portion 70, the rear roller 76 is installed at both sides of the rotary shaft 74 in which a plurality of male threaded portions 78 each having a certain threaded angle are formed. The female threaded portion 72 corresponding to the male threaded portion 78 of the rotary shaft 74 is formed in one side, and the insertion portion 82 having an insertion protrusion 80 is formed in the other side. A rear stopper 84 having a certain length is formed in the upper portion of the rotary shaft 74. The rear roller portion 70 is installed below the rear plate unit 16.

   At this time, the bearing 208 is installed in a side surface of the rear roller 76. An engaging shaft 75 is protruded from the center portion of the same.

  Therefore, the reverse direction rotation of the rear roller 76 is prevented in the same manner as the front stopper 42.

   The brake roller 50 is formed in the same circular shape as the front and rear rollers 36 and 76. A braking member 56 formed of a rubber material is formed in an outer circumferential surface. A bearing 208 is installed in a side surface. In addition, an engaging shaft 54 is installed. The brake roller 50 is inserted into the elongated hole 52 which is formed in one side of the side plate 3 at a certain slanted angle and is installed just behind the rear roller 76 for thereby generating a certain braking force.

   At this time, the elongated hole 52 is formed from the front upper portion to the rear lower portion at a certain slanted angle, and a shaft 54 is installed in the center portion.

   As shown in Figures 4 and 5, when braking the roller skate 1, the user applies a certain force to the heel of the foot for thereby pressing the rear plate member 16, so that the brake roller 50 is moved to the front upper portion along the elongated hole 52 and comes close with the rear roller 76 which is installed in front of the same, whereby the braking member 56 comes close to the rear roller 76 for thereby generating a braking force.

   In the binding band 60, the male and female Velcro fasteners 58 and 62 are installed at the end portions of each of both sides for thereby adjusting the length.

  The above method is well known in the art.

   In the drawings, reference numeral 210 represents a screw, and 120 represents a safety support rod which operates as a support member for preventing a user's fall down due to an unbalance.

   The operation of the present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.

   In order to match with the size of the user's shoe 100, the female threaded portion 22 of the rear plate unit 16 is placed below the male threaded portion 14 of the front plate unit 2 in which the binding band 60 is engaged, and then the elongated holes 4 and 24 are arranged and engaged using the engaging member 15 of the bolt 11 and the nut 13. Thereafter, the front plate unit 2 and the rear plate unit 16 are fixed by a certain length.

   The front and rear side left and right fixing plate members 26,29,21 and 23 are placed on the upper surfaces of the fixed rear plate unit 16 and front plate unit 2, and the female threaded portions 10 and 11 and the male threaded portions 32 and 27 are thread-engaged for thereby adjusting the size and fixing the same. At this time, the female threaded portions 10 and 11 are formed in such a manner that the slanted surface 12 is formed in an outer direction, and the left and right sides of the same opposite each other. Therefore, it is easy to insert the front and rear side left and right fixing plate members 26,29,21 and 23 for thereby preventing an easier escape of the same.

   The shoes 100 are placed on the upper portion of the front and rear plate units 16 and 2 of which the sizes are adjusted. Thereafter, the length of the binding band 60 inserted through the insertion grooves 8 and 9 and the engaging grooves 20 and 30 is adjusted. In this state, when using on the slanted ground surface or on the steps, the user applies a certain force to the heel of the grounded foot for forwardly walking. At this time, when applying a certain force to the heel of the grounded foot, the reverse rotation of the roller is prevented by the front and rear stoppers 42 and 84 thread-engaged with the rotary shafts 38 and 74 of the front roller portion 34 and the rear roller portion 70 for thereby decreasing a load applied to the user's feet.

   In addition, when the user wants to stop walking, the user applies a certain force to the heel of the user's foot and presses the rear plate unit 16, so that the brake 50 is moved to the front upper portion along the elongated hole 52 and comes close to the rear roller 76 which is installed in front of the same, for thereby generating a certain braking force by the braking member 56.

   Therefore, in the present invention, it is possible to freely adjust the lengthwise and widthwise sizes of the roller skate, so that the user uses the roller skate irrespective of the foot size. In addition, many people may use one roller skate irrespective of the foot size. In addition, when the user uses the roller skate on the slanted ground surface or the steps, since the backward motion of the roller skate is prevented, it is safe and convenient.

   As described above, the detachable roller skate capable of preventing a backward motion according to the present invention may be used as an exercise gear as well as a short-distance transportation unit by providing a plurality of rollers and a plurality of brake rollers in the lower portion of the body of the roller skate, and the size adjustable left and right plate members and front and rear plate units and binding band. Therefore, the users may economically use the roller skate irrespective of the user's feet size by freely adjusting the lengthwise and widthwise sizes of the roller skate. In addition, many people may use one roller skate irrespective of the user's feet sizes. When the users use the roller skate on the slanted ground surface or the steps, the backward motion of the roller skate is prevented, it is safe and convenient to use the roller skate.

   As the present invention may be embodied in several forms without departing from the spirit or essential characteristics thereof, it should also be understood that the above-described embodiments are not limited by any of the details of the foregoing description, unless otherwise specified, but rather should be construed broadly within its spirit and scope as defined in the appended claims, and therefore all changes and modifications that fall within the meets and bounds of the claims, or equivalences of such meets and bounds are therefore intended to be embraced by the appended claims.
