The present invention relates to a tieback for draping curtains and other decorative fabrics, with a gathering agent which can be fastened to a mounting means, the mounting means in turn being fastenable to a mounting base using fastening means.

Such tiebacks are known. These are used for decorative draping of decorative curtains and drapes e.g. B. used in the unclosed state.

In known gathering means, the mounting means is mainly attached to a wall that acts as a mounting base. A well-known gathering agent is, for example, an elongated strip of textile. This is formed from the curtain fabric or a cord and hung on both sides by means of metal eyelets on a hook attached to a wall as a means of assembly. Also hook-shaped curved gathering means are known with which a curtain can be kept gathered. These have the disadvantage that, due to the predefined size and shape of the hooks, there is only relatively little scope to gather the curtain in terms of the decorative effect.

DE 8353 C and DE 83 37 252 U each describe a curtain holder or decoration support with a rigid rod element bent into a certain shape.

WO 97/25473 describes a method for producing a stiff, bent rope. A metal core (steel tube) is wrapped with one or more rope strands made of hemp, sisal or the like. This creates a rope, which is very stiff due to the metal core. Some applications are also described in the document, namely as a so-called "male servant" for hanging clothing, as a lamp or as a curtain rod and drapery holder. Because of these applications and the very high weight load in each case, it must be a relatively stable material that is difficult to bend manually. In addition, the rope wrapping creates an appearance that is not suitable in terms of taste for all applications or is no longer timely.

The present invention has for its object to provide a tieback, which allows great variability in terms of the design and shape of the gathering means and the gathering or draping of a curtain or similar decoration fabric in a particularly simple manner.

According to the invention, this is achieved by the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, the arm part thus consists of a metal hose, known per se, helically wound from wire, as is obtainable in particular under the name "flexible hose". At the ends of the arm part, sleeves are preferably arranged as connecting means, which are non-positively connected to the arm part and have threaded bores or external threads at the other end. The arm part is z. B. attached to the respective mounting means by means of a fastening screw. An appropriately designed headpiece can advantageously be connected to the other end of the sleeve, the headpiece representing a thickening which facilitates draping of fabrics by preventing the fabric from slipping off.

This provides a tieback that can be brought into any desired shape by an advantageous plasticity of the arm part with relatively little force and therefore easily manually, if desired even in a course with one or more rather narrow turns or (knot-like) loops , However, the tieback according to the invention has sufficient rigidity such that the weight of conventional curtains or drapes or other decorative materials does not or only insignificantly affects the position of the tieback. Thus, the tieback according to the invention can the curtain in one Drape position that is not possible with a normal decoration or previously known tiebacks. Such pushing the curtain aside or into the room is of great advantage in some structural conditions, e.g. B. in window niches, bay windows, too long window sills and too wide window sills or protruding radiators in the room. Due to the fact that the arm part is a mass product as a flexible hose known per se, the tieback is extremely inexpensive to manufacture. The flexible hose that is preferably used consists of an inner wire spiral made of a spring steel wire with a circular cross section or so-called stainless steel spring wire and an outer spiral made of a triangular profile wire, which points with its triangular tip into the gap between the turns of the inner spiral. This results in an almost continuous cylindrical circumferential surface of the flexible tube on the outer circumference due to the side surface of the triangular profile wire lying opposite the tip, which is only interrupted by a narrow, helically running gap, but this gap is closed radially inwards by the wire of the inner coil running there. The triangular profile wire can also consist of steel wire, but advantageously also of aluminum or brass (eg Cu Zn 37). The surface can therefore be treated to match the furnishings or an existing style set, be it by galvanic processes such as B. nickel, chrome, etc., or by subsequent smooth polishing or matt brushing. In addition, the gathering agents can be painted in fashionable living room colors. The tieback according to the invention has a hitherto unknown functionality in connection with extremely variable decorative effects, in particular in addition to suitable, different head pieces and assembly means.

By means of a certain configuration of the mounting means, the tieback according to the invention can be attached to almost any mounting base, in particular on a wall, ceiling or even floor surface of a building room or directly on components of a curtain holder, for example a so-called style set. The gathering means according to the invention can be attached directly to a curtain rod or to a support provided for holding the curtain rod. In this way, a curtain, curtain or other decorative fabric can advantageously also in the upper area of a room be draped appropriately, so that the tieback can also be called a draping holder (draping hook, draping end piece).

According to the invention, the gathering means 2 consists of a plastically bendable arm part 11, preferably of a flexible metal tube, as is known per se in particular under the term “flexible tube”. For this purpose, reference is made to FIG. 8, according to which it is an inner coil IW and an outer coil AW each made of a helically wound wire a or b. The wire a of the inner coil IW is a spring wire with a circular cross section made of unalloyed steel (e.g. according to DIN 2076 and DIN 17223 sheet 1) or made of so-called stainless steel spring wire. The wire b of the outer helix AW has a triangular profile, wherein it is wound with its triangular tip inwards between the turns of the wire a of the inner helix IW and thus forms part of the outer circumference of the metal hose with its surface F. The covering means 6 is disc-shaped, but can have any other geometric shape. The covering means 6 has an opening 4 made in the middle. According to the invention, the arm part 11 has connecting means at its ends 7, 13, in particular in the form of sleeves 12. The sleeves 12 are non-positively and / or positively, possibly also integrally connected to the arm part 11, z. B. pressed. At the other ends 14 of the sleeves 12, an internal or external thread 16 is attached. Instead of an external thread, a grub screw can alternatively be used.

The gathering means 2 is screwed at one end by means of the sleeve 12 to the first threaded section 9 of the fastening screw 3 protruding from the wall. A decorative head piece 17 can be screwed to the external thread 16 or the threaded pin of the sleeve 12 at the other end. A mushroom-shaped head piece 17 is shown as an example in FIG. An internal thread is arranged in its foot 18. However, the head piece 17 can have any configuration, for example spherical (see FIGS. 2 to 7).

The head piece 17 or the foot 18 can alternatively also have a conically tapering bore into which the outside of the sleeve 12 can be inserted such that a non-positive connection of the head piece 17 with the sleeve 12 is achieved.

The head piece 17 is preferably made of a relatively light material and / or as a hollow body. For example, plastic, aluminum or wood can be used as the material, and the surfaces can each be decoratively coated. The sleeves 12 can be formed as turned parts, in particular made of brass or aluminum, and can have any internal or external thread (eg M6x10) as the threaded connection.

An advantageous embodiment of the tieback 1 according to the invention is illustrated in FIGS. 2 and 4. Here, two arm parts 11, in particular of the same type, are provided according to the invention. Therefore, the disk-shaped covering means 6 has two openings 21, 22 diametrically opposite to a central axis, through each of which a fastening screw 3 is guided as the mounting means M. In comparison to FIG. 1, a head piece 17 designed as a ball is connected to the sleeves 12.

The covering means 6 according to FIGS. 2 and 4 can also be designed such that it has a central mounting opening and the two diametrically opposite openings 21, 22. Two countersunk screws are guided through the diametrically opposite holes 21 and 22 and screwed into the respective sleeve 12 so as to connect the cover plate 6 to the gathering means 2. Depending on the thickness (thickness) of the covering means 6, the two diametrically opposite openings can also have internal threads, so that the set screws 16 or the external thread of the sleeve 12 can be screwed here. The central mounting opening serves as a passage for a central fastening screw of the tieback according to the invention. With this type of attachment there is the possibility of the tieback with respect to the arrangement of an imaginary line running through the holes 21, 22 from a z.
