Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de foie artificiel compound et son procédé d'utilisation. Ledit système comprend un dispositif de déplacement et/ou d'adsorption de sang/plasma servant à retirer des matériaux poisons et des substances dangereuses tels que les aminoacides de la série aromatique et l'acide phénylique, ainsi qu'un ensemble foie artificiel biologique. Ledit dispositif de déplacement/adsorption de sang/plasma comprend un appareil de ségrégation de plasma servant à ségréguer le plasma d'un patient et à l'évacuer, ainsi qu'un appareil de guidage de plasma fin qui comprend des pompes, des soupapes et des conduits. Ce dispositif de déplacement/adsorption de sang/plasma comprend aussi un appareil thermostatique qui le maintient à la température du corps humain. L'ensemble foie artificiel biologique comprend un bioréacteur constitué d'un appareil de culture de cellules hépatiques, un échangeur de substances, un appareil à flux constant de sang/plasma, un appareil à flux constant de liquide de culture et un appareil thermostatique.
