Abstract

The invention relates to glass ceramic materials, in particular to the glass ceramics which comprise the following constituents, expressed in mass %: 55.0-75.0 of SiO2, 10.0-20.0 of Li2O, 1.0-5.0 of NaPO3, 1.0-3.0 of Ka 2O, 0.5-3.0 of CaF2, 1.0-10.0 of LiF, 0.1-5.0 of MnO/MnO2, 0.1-5.0 of ZnO/ZnO2, 1.0-10.0 of Na2O. The inventive method for producing glass ceramics consists in melting glass, shaping elements in such a way that they acquire the required configuration, and annealing and crystallising said elements. The crystallisation is carried out in three stages after the annealing: raising the temperature to 480-520 °C and exposure thereto during 1-3 hours, raising the temperature to 580-620 °C and exposure thereto during 1-10 hours, raising the temperature to 680-730 °C at a speed of 1-5 °C/min and exposure thereto during 1-3 hours. Afterwards, said elements are cooled down at a speed of 5-10 °C/min to the ambient temperature. The inventive protective structure based on glass ceramics is embodied in the form of a honeycombed matrix and protective elements. The inventive ceramic materials can be used for various technical branches for producing protective structures against shocks and abrasive wearing and have high strength and operational characteristics.
