Abstract

L'invention porte sur une seringue à jeter comportant un cylindre creux à l'extrémité distale duquel est connecté un support d'aiguille comprenant une aiguille communiquant avec l'intérieur du cylindre, et la tête d'un piston étanche mue dans le cylindre par un poussoir dont la tige présente une cavité intérieure oblongue parallèle à l'axe longitudinal. Ledit support comporte en outre un verrou comportant deux lèvres de blocage entourées d'une bague élastique, et maintenant l'aiguille en place en s'opposant à la force de rappel d'un ressort placé dans le support. La tête du piston entre en contact avec le support de manière à ce qu'après la fin de la course d'injection une nouvelle poussée du poussoir rompe la partie affaiblie de la surface distale du piston et repousse radialement les lèvres de blocage. Une fois l'aiguille dégagée des lèvres de blocage, elle est projetée dans la cavité du poussoir par le ressort de rappel, après quoi le poussoir contenant alors l'aiguille, le ressort de rappel et la partie découpée de la surface du piston reste bloqué dans le cylindre par l'entaille de verrouillage et les rainures respectivement formées sur l'extrémité proximale du poussoir et sur celle du cylindre pour empêcher toute tentative de retrait du piston.
