Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil permettant de prévoir l'apparition probable d'événement de temps de convection, tels que des orages. On utilise un filtre d'image pour identifier des zones considérées dans une image météorologique contenant probablement un temps de convection. Le filtre d'image et le processeur de différence d'image identifient des zones de l'image météorologique susceptibles de faire face à une évolution positive et/ou négative d'événements météorologiques. L'image météorologique, l'image considérée et l'image d'évolution positive/négative sont traitées afin de produire une prévision à court terme.
