Abstract

The invention relates to a fuel injection valve for fuel injection systems of an internal combustion engine. The inventive fuel injection valve comprises a valve seat body (5), whose radial dimensions are reduced at least in the inside in the direction of flow and wherein a valve seat surface (6) is arranged. Said surface coperates with a valve closing body (4) which actively co-operates with a valve needle (3) to form a sealed seat. The inventive fuel injection valve also comprises a plurality of injection openings (7) whose centre axes (35) form an angle different from zero with the centre axis (36) of the fuel injection valve (1). The distance from the inner side of the valve seat body (5) to the upper surface of the valve closing body (4) increases in the downstream direction of the valve seat surface (6) and decreases later in the same direction.
