Abstract

The invention relates to a heating device (40) for a gas sensor, especially for using in the exhaust gas analysis of internal combustion engines, and comprising a heating element (43) having an electrical resistive layer. Said heating element (43) is embedded in a first insulating element (41) which is surrounded, at least in areas, by a second insulating element (42). Said first and second insulating elements (41, 42) comprise differing proportions of voids.
