Abstract

La présente invention concerne un moyen de détection du chlore résiduel total et de discrimination colorimétrique des niveaux de couleur dans un environnement à faible teneur en chlore ainsi qu'un procédé associé. Le moyen de détection comprend un réactif comprenant une thiocétone de Michler ou des analogues actifs d'indicateur de cette dernière combiné(s) à un tensioactif fluoré non ionique. Une bande de test sur laquelle est imprégné le réactif de test permet d'effectuer une discrimination visuelle entre des niveaux très faibles de chlore résiduel et présente une utilité pour tester du matériel médical aseptisé au chlore, tel que des unités d'hémodialyse.
