Abstract

L'invention concerne un support d'enregistrement d'informations lisibles optiquement du type multicouches, un procédé pour sa réaliation et un système optique de reproduction desdites informations pour la lecture du support. Le support (Sp) comprend sur un substrat (Sb) un empilement de couches (C1 à CN) dont les interfaces constituent des plans (P1 à PN) porteurs d'éléments d'information faiblement déphasants. Ces plans génèrent une pertubation relativement importante du faisceau transmis tout en ne diffractant qu'une très faible part de la lumière qui les traverse. Le faisceau de lecture (FI) est focalisé sur un plan porteur et la lecture s'effectue par transmission. Les pertubations dues aux couches défocalisées voisines sont éliminées en ne détectant en champ lointain que les basses fréquences spatiales dans le faisceau transmis. L'invention s'applique notamment au stockage optique d'informations à très haute capacité.
