Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un matériau poreux, consistant à dérouler une toile de tissu tricoté ou tissé à texture ouverte (10) d'une bobine (12) et à l'introduire dans un contenant (14) dont la partie supérieure est ouverte, renfermant un mélange liant (16). Un rouleau (18) situé dans le contenant permet de maintenir la toile (10) suffisamment longtemps dans le mélange pour qu'elle soit sensiblement imprégnée par le mélange, le mélange venant combler les espaces interstitiels situés dans la maille ou l'armure du tissu (10). Une buse d'air à fente (20) est située à proximité de l'endroit d'où émerge le tissu imprégné du contenant (14). La pression de l'air et la vitesse linéaire à laquelle se déplace le tissu (10) permettent de déterminer la quantité de matériau liant éliminée dans les espaces interstitiels, retombant dans le contenant (14). Pour une élimination plus efficace du mélange situé dans les espaces interstitiels, on peut également faire vibrer la tissu (10).
