Description

APRATUS FOR TREATING LIVESTOCK WASTES FOODSTUFF
WASTES
Background of the Invention
Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating livestock waste and foodstuff waste comprising a fermentation vessel for fermenting livestock waste and foodstuff waste, etc.,: a trolley having an agitating means, which is installed on the top of the fermentation vessel so that it can travel in the longitudinal and transverse directions having an extraction means for unwanted substances, with which unwanted substances can effectively be extracted out of the livestock waste or foodstuff waste; an air purifying means, in order to recycle the livestock waste or foodstuff waste into useful farmyard manure.
Background Art
The inventor has filed a Korean Utility Model Application No. 20-2000-0004005 of an apparatus for treating livestock waste and foodstuff waste as shown in Fig. 1.
The above existing invention comprises a fermentation vessel having firs guide rails 1 mounted on the top of both longitudinal sidewalls of the rectangular parallelepiped type fermentation vessel with open top (No figure is suggested); traveling girders having first driving motor 2 installed on the first rails 1 in order to support and rotate the roller running on the contacting surface of the above guide rails to make longitudinal traveling and No. 2 guide rails 3 mounted perpendicularly on the traveling girders 4 installed on No. 1 guide rails; a trolley 5 having No. 2 driving motor and gear equipped for traversing supported by the second guide rails 3, a screw driving motor 6 providing rotating force; a blower 7 supplying air; a hollow screw shaft 8 forming a whole screw installed by penetrating to the above trolley, which rotates by receiving the power from the screw driving motor and an air passageway having equidistant pitched air outlets 9; and the air passageway by linking the above blower to the screw shaft for supplying air produced by blower. Thus, the existing apparatus mainly comprises a fermentation vessel, traveling girders for longitudinal traveling, and a trolley for traversing and agitation.
Such existing apparatus by the applicant has an effect of increasing the fermentation rate due to good conditions of the gap inside the waste and uniform air supply by intake and discharge of the air through the hollow of the screw shaft to accelerate evaporation of vapor, since it includes a movable trolley having a hollow screw shaft with holes on the lower part for air discharge.
However, such existing apparatus supplies indoor air for fermenting the livestock waste or foodstuff waste stored in the fermentation vessel which is installed indoor, by supplying indoor air to the livestock waste and foodstuff waste, and accelerates evaporation of the vapor in order to increase oxygen density. The continuous circulation of the indoor air in order to increase oxygen density by evaporating the vapor contained in the foodstuff waste or livestock waste causes contamination problems of the indoor air; if it reaches a certain level, it drops oxygen density, and contaminates indoor air of the facility housing where the fermentation vessel is installed so that a user cannot control the operation inside the facility housing. Evaporation of the vapor rising to the ceiling of the facility housing by supplying air and agitating the livestock waste and foodstuff waste also causes the problem of dew condensation on the ceiling due to the difference in the temperatures indoor and outdoor. Foodstuff waste discharged from a family house or restaurant, or livestock waste discharged from cattle sheds contains various unwanted substances; its separation and abstraction from the waste becomes a problem. Especially if various types of metal pieces are included in the farmyard manure, it causes not only environmental pollution problems but also problems of hurting farmyard workers when working on the farm. The existing apparatus for treating foodstuff waste or livestock waste recycles foodstuff waste or livestock waste to produce farmyard manure by agitating foodstuff waste or livestock waste to evaporate moisture using a screw shaft.
However, in such an apparatus for treating foodstuff waste or livestock excretion, input into the apparatus, agitation, and fermentation should be carried out after separating vinyl or strings coming out of feeds bags from cattle sheds or foodstuff waste before the treatment of the livestock excretion or foodstuff waste.
The reason for eliminating unwanted substances mixed in the foodstuff waste or excretion is to prevent the severe problem that causes impediment to the growth of plant roots when the fermented waste is used as fertilizer, if vinyl or strings are mixed in the fertilizer. Since vinyl etc. in the soil may cause a serious problem by closing the supply of oxygen and hampering plant growth, vinyl and strings should be removed before putting livestock waste into the apparatus.
For the above reason, in order to eliminate the unwanted substances mixed into foodstuff waste or livestock excretion, the separation should be done by hand without any separating machine for elimination of the vinyl or the strings; such manual declogging takes time and is costly because of too difficult and dirty work to employed workers.
Summary of the Invention
The present invention is designed to solve the above problems and has a purpose of providing an apparatus for treating livestock waste and foodstuff waste by extracting unwanted substances such as metal pieces or pieces of vinyl, etc. prior to the step of production of the farmyard manure in order to produce high quality farmyard manure.
Another purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus for treating livestock waste and foodstuff waste with a means for effective purification of the contaminated air generated during operation of the apparatus.
For the detail description of the present invention's functioning to solve the above problems partly or wholly: the following are shown.

Best Mode for Carrying out the Invention
The present invention comprises an unwanted substance extracting means, which can effectively extract and eliminate unwanted substances such as pieces of vinyl or metal.
Such extracting means for unwanted substances is to be provided through the various embodiments. Detail description is shown in reference to the attached drawing as follows.
(In the below listed drawing numbers, the same item name and the same item number are used in the same part having the same name and the same function in each drawing)
Fig. 2 is a perspective view showing the overall shape of the embodiment 1 of the present invention. As shown on the drawing, the embodiment 1 of the present invention includes an unwanted substance extracting means which is installed on a trolley and further comprises electromagnets.
Thus, the present invention comprises a fermentation vessel for fermenting livestock waste or foodstuff waste: a trolley 5 having an agitating means for agitating foodstuff waste, etc., which is installed on top of the above femientation vessel for traveling in the longitudinal and transverse directions; and an electromagnet equipped on its lower part.
As shown in Fig. 1 or in Fig. 2, the present invention comprises a femientation vessel of rectangular parallelepiped type with open top (Other general storing means can be used) having The first guide rails 1 mounted on the top of both longitudinal side walls of the fermentation vessel (No figure is suggested): traveling girders supported by The first guide rails 1 having the first driving motor 2 which is installed on the surface contacting to the guide rail for running on the above guide rails to make longitudinal traveling; the second guide rails 3 installed perpendicularly on traveling girders 4 on The first guide rails 1: a trolley 5 equipped with the second driving motor and a pinion gear (refer to the item 33 on Fig.3) for traversing supported by The second guide rail 3 having a screw driving motor 6 providing rotating force; a blower 7 supplying air; a hollow screw shaft 8 performing agitation, which forms a whole screw installed by penetrating to the above trolley, forming screw blades outside, rotates by receiving the power from the screw driving motor and forms an air passageway having equidistant pitched air outlets 9; and an air passageway (refer to item no. 344 in Fig. 17) by linking the above blower to the screw shaft for supplying air produced by the blower. The technical philosophy of the present invention, by which one example of an existing apparatus to be improved is given, can be applied, more than this, in various apparatuses having a trolley equipped with an agitating means for agitating livestock waste and foodstuff waste.
As shown in Fig. 2 of the embodiment 1 in the above, such an existing apparatus for treating livestock waste and foodstuff waste can be equipped with one or a number of hydraulic cylinder(s) 10 forming a plunger (refer to item no. 11 in Fig. 3) downward at the end of the cylinder by which the plunger is operated for vertical movement, and an electromagnet 12 is installed at the end of the above plunger. And on the lower surface of the trolley as shown in Fig. 3 and Fig. 4, a distance sensor 13 detecting the distance between the electromagnet and the livestock waste or foodstuff waste can be attached. It is recommendable to attach the above distance sensor in the location where direct downward projection to the foodstuff waste, etc. is possible.
As an extracting means, the embodiment of the present invention is furnished with an electromagnet for vertical reciprocal movement by a lifting means comprising a hydraulic cylinder 10 and a plunger 11. As a variation, the embodiment can be furnished with an ordinary lifting means or may not be furnished with the above lifting means (or extending and contracting means), or may not include the above distance sensor 13, however, it is also included in the present invention.
ha the electromagnet 12, forming bar type to suit the shape of the trolley is recommendable; however other types are also possible.
The numbers of the electromagnets depend on, however, the present embodiment, as a preferred example, is equipped with four electromagnets 12 in the location around the lower part of the trolley, hi the trolley right above the above four electromagnets, a hydraulic cylinder 10 is installed to each electromagnet to activate the vertical movement of each electromagnet. A high voltage electric source is induced to the electromagnet of the present invention; thus, it is possible to separate metal pieces by sticking them to the electromagnets by the strong magnetic force.
Fig. 5 and Fig. 6 are the front view and the bottom view of the trolley by the embodiment 2 of the present invention. As shown on the above drawings, in the present embodiment, the electromagnet is installed and extended to the outside of the trolley. Thus, the lower end of the plunger 11 which comes down vertically from the cylinder 10 of the trolley forms an outward bent bar 14 where the electromagnet is installed to locate outside of the trolley. This is the structure from the consideration of rotating and rising up of the livestock waste etc. apart from the trolley by the centrifugal force of the screw shaft rotating power. It is recommendable use in the case of strong power of the screw shaft, however, in the case of not so strong power, the case of the embodiment 1 is acceptable.
The number of the above cylinders forms the same number of electromagnets.
Another variation of the embodiment may comprise a number of electromagnets to a cylinder for simultaneous vertical movement; the embodiment 3 of the present invention shows an example of such composition. As shown in Fig.7, the present embodiment comprises a branched bar 16 attached to and branched from the lower end of the plunger 11 where electromagnets are equipped to each end.
Thus, one plunger, which comes down vertically from one hydraulic cylinder, makes simultaneous vertical movement of two electromagnets.
In the present embodiment, two electromagnets are attached, however, it is possible to extend or contract the affecting area of electromagnets by forming a number of electromagnets or changing the shape of electromagnets. The description for operating the present invention comprising the above is as follows:
Firstly, by the operation of the blower 7 and the screw driving motor 6 which are installed on the trolley, the screw shaft rotates and makes air discharge from the air outlets of the screw shaft, and at the same time the electromagnet forms a strong magnetic field by inducing electricity to the electromagnet; by the revolution of the screw shaft the foodstuff waste etc. is agitated and jumps up. The metal pieces included in the jumping foodstuff waste, etc., are separated and extracted by sticking thereupon to the electromagnet. The trolley travels and operates in the longitudinal and transverse directions. The same distance between the electromagnet and the foodstuff waste should be maintained by the vertical movement of the electromagnet, since the height and the volume of the foodstuff waste differ according to the location; the vertical movement of the electromagnet maintains the distance by activating the hydraulic cylinder 10 according to the signal of the distance sensor 13 of the present invention and is automatically controlled by a controller.
After the trolley finishes working by traveling in the longitudinal and transverse directions, it travels to the end which forms in order to separate the foodstuff waste, if the supply of electricity is cut off in this location, the metal pieces etc. stuck to the electromagnets fall down to a pile by the loss of the magnetic force. Thus, the unwanted substances piled to a certain amount are recycled and increase the rate of utilization of the resources.
The above embodiments 1 to 3 are especially effective in extracting metal pieces.
The embodiments 4 to 5 are to provide eliminating means for unwanted substances excepting metal. Thus, in the embodiment 4 and 5 as shown in Fig 8 to Fig.12, an apparatus for treating livestock waste and foodstuff waste comprising: a fermentation vessel for fermenting livestock waste and foodstuff waste as in Fig. 1 ; a trolley 5 installed for longitudinal and traversing, which comprises an agitating means for agitating the foodstuff waste etc., and further includes a ratchet type eliminating means.
Other preferable embodiments of the present invention which further comprises an eliminating means for unwanted substance of the foodstuff waste and livestock waste, according to the embodiment 4 of the present invention, is described in detail referring to the drawing as follows: Firstly, in the embodiment 4 of the present invention, the existing apparatus described in the above comprises a fermentation vessel, traveling girders 4 for longitudinal traveling, and a trolley installed for traversing and agitating as shown in Fig. 8 to Fig. 11, which comprises No. 2 lifting means 105 including piston rods 152 and cylinders 51 (It is preferable that No. 2 lifting means 105 attached to one side of the trolley 5 form in the direction of the movement of the traveling girders where a trolley is equipped for moving); a rotating supporting shaft 106 which forms horizontally at the opposite end of the piston rod 152, which is linked to the cylinder 151, of the second lifting means 105 attached to the trolley 5; a rotating means 107 to make rotation of supporting shaft 106 is formed at one end of the supporting shaft 106 as shown in Fig. 9; a number of unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 attached to the rotating supporting shaft 106 driven by the rotating means 107, and forms an unwanted substance eliminating means where unwanted substance eliminating tools rotate when the supporting shaft rotates.
The present invention comprising the above, as published, lowers the piston rod 152 by activating the cylinder 151 of the second lifting means 105 installed on one side of the trolley 5 traversing on the girders which travel along the guide rails on the fermentation vessel in which foodstuff waste or livestock waste is stored.
If the piston rod 152 is lowered by the cylinder 151, the supporting shaft 106 which is assembled to the end of the piston rod 152 to make its rotation and the rotating means
107 which rotates the supporting shaft 6 are lowered together.
It is preferable that the supporting shaft 106 by activation of the cylinder 151 of No. 2 lifting means 105 be lowered until a number of unwanted substance eliminating tools
108 formed on the supporting shaft 106 is lowered to the surface of the foodstuff waste or livestock waste.
If the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 which form on the supporting shaft 106 is lowered to the surface of the foodstuff waste or livestock waste, it starts operation of the screw driving motor 6, the traveling girders and the trolley 5.
If the operation of the screw driving motor 6, the traveling girders and the trolley start up, the rotating screw shaft 8, which forms jutting downward from the trolley 5, agitates and mixes the foodstuff waste or livestock waste stored in the fermentation vessel, and the trolley 5 equipped with screw shaft 8, which forms jutting downward from the trolley 5, traverses on the traveling girders, and the traveling girders move forward along the guide rails.
Since a number of eliminating tools 108 formed on the supporting shaft 106 attached to the end of the piston rod 152 of The second lifting means 105 (which is formed on one side of the trolley 5 in the direction of the traveling girders' travel because of traveling of the girders with the traversing of the trolley 5 along the guide rails formed on the fermentation vessel) are lowered to the surface of the foodstuff waste, etc. stored in the fermentation vessel. If the girders move, by the progress of the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108, the unwanted substances such as vinyl, strings, etc. are hung by the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 and pulled in the direction of girders' travel.
Since the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 lowered by the cylinder 151 of The second lifting means 105 and traversing on the traveling girders by the trolley 5 travel in the direction of the trolley's progress, all of the vinyl, strings, etc. which are laid on the surface of the foodstuff waste, etc. stored in the fermentation vessel are to be eliminated.
If the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 traveling along the direction of the traveling girders reaches the top of the foodstuff waste, the rotating means 107 rotates the supporting shaft 106 attached to the piston rod 152 of the No. 2 lifting means 105 to about 90° as shown on Fig. 11 and prevents vinyl or string, etc., collected by the unwanted substance eliminating tools 8 from dropping again. And the traveling girders move to the place where the unwanted substances are thrown. If the unwanted substances collected by the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108, which keep the collected unwanted substances reaches the place where the foodstuff waste are to be thrown along with the traveling girders' travel, they fall to the ground by the return of the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 driven by the rotating means 107. If the unwanted substances fall down by the return of the supporting shaft 106 which forms a number of unwanted substance eliminating tools 108, the piston rod 151 goes up by the activation of the cylinder 151 of No. 2 lifting means 105.
The piston rod 151 goes up by the activation of the cylinder 151 of No. 2 lifting means 105, the supporting shaft 106 and the rotating means 107 attached to the end of the above piston rod 152 go up together. The unwanted substance eliminating tools 108, which form on the supporting shaft 106, go up together with the supporting shaft 106 and the rotating means 107, then the traveling girders return. If the traveling girder return, by the repeated operation during mixing and agitating of The second lifting means 105 to lower the supporting shafts 106 which form the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108, the vinyl or strings, etc., on the top of the foodstuff waste, etc., stored in the fermentation vessel are eliminated completely. Fig 12 shows the embodiment 5 where the second lifting means 105 is directly attached to the traveling girders 4 without traversing on the traveling girders 4 and moves together with the traveling girders 5 without attaching the unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 to the trolley 5 which is traversing on the traveling girders. Since the composition and the method of operation are the same as the one attached to the trolley 5, they are left out of the description.
Fig. 13 to Fig. 15 shows the embodiment 6. The present embodiment comprises both electromagnets as extracting means which are included in the embodiment 1, and the unwanted substance eliminating tools which are included in the embodiment 4.
Fig 13 is a front view of the trolley part according to the embodiment 6, and Fig. 14 is a side view of the trolley part according to the embodiment 6.
As shown on the above figures, the embodiment 6 includes the unwanted substance extracting means of the invention by the embodiment 4 added to the invention by the embodiment 1 as shown in Fig.2 to 4.
Accordingly, in the present embodiment as shown in the above Fig. 13 and Fig.14, an apparatus for treating the livestock waste and foodstuff waste having a fermentation vessel: and a trolley 5 equipped with an agitating means to mix and agitate the foodstuff, which is installed for longitudinal and transverse traveling on the top of the fermentation vessel, which comprises electromagnets equipped on the lower part, No. 2 lifting means attached on one side of the trolley comprising a cylinder to move the piston rod; a rotating means comprising a motor to rotate the supporting shaft attached to the end of the piston rod to make its rotation, and a number of unwanted substance eliminating tools fixed to a supporting shaft for the extraction of the unwanted substance which is laid on the surface of the foodstuff waste or livestock waste.
More specifically, in the above unwanted substance extracting means, No. 2 lifting means comprising the piston rod 152 and the cylinder 151 is attached to one side of the trolley 5. The second lifting means 105, which is attached to one side of the trolley 5, is recommended to form in the traveling direction of the traveling girders 4 on which the trolley moves.
The second lifting means 105 to be attached to the trolley 5 comprising a supporting shaft which forms horizontally to be assembled to the one end of the supporting shaft which is connected to a piston rod 152 comprises a rotating means 107 as shown in Fig. 2. On the rotating supporting shaft 106, driven by the rotating means 107 as shown in Fig. 13 and Fig. 14 a number of unwanted substance eliminating tools 108 are attached so that it rotates when the supporting shaft 106 rotates as shown in the embodiment 4.
The above trolley of the present embodiment can include more lifting means which make electromagnets 8 move up and down, and the above driving means can include a hydraulic cylinder 10 installed on the trolley; a hydraulic cylinder 10 installed on the trolley, and a plunger 11 on which an electromagnet 12 is attached at the end.
hi the present embodiment, such composition facilitates two types of unwanted substance extracting means so that the metal pieces, etc., can be extracted by the electromagnet and the unwanted substance of vinyl, etc., can also be extracted by the unwanted substance eliminating tools.
Fig. 15 and Fig. 16 show an example of the embodiment 7 of the present invention as another example of the extracting means of the present invention. In the embodiment 7, a number of unwanted substance collecting tools 203 are formed on the screw shaft 8 driven by the screw driving motor which is an agitating means used in the embodiments 1 to 6 (more specifically, are formed at the ends of the blades jutting out to the rotating direction of the screw shaft,). Thus, by the present embodiment, unwanted substance extracting means and agitating means form a single body. The above agitating means is installed on the same trolley as above.
A number of unwanted substance collecting tools 203 jutting out at the end of the screw blades 22 should preferably be composed of a steel pin, however, making it possible to form a radial type with a number of steel pins or pieces of thin plate. The above screw blade possibly forms various shapes.
A number of unwanted substance collecting tools 203 are formed at the end of the screw blade 22 as above and the agitating means driven by the screw driving motor 6 is installed on the trolley (refer to Fig.l item no. 5). The inner surface of the end wall of the fermentation vessel, where traveling girders equipped with the above trolley are installed, forms an unwanted substance eliminating means 204 in order to declog the unwanted substance gathered by collecting tools 203, which are formed at the end of the screw blade of the agitating means as shown in Fig. 16.
The unwanted substance eliminating means 204 described in the above comprises a rotating shaft of the eliminating means 242 driven by an eliminating means driving motor 241 forms a radial type bmsh 243. The length of the brash to be formed corresponds to the length of the screw shaft.
One side of the eliminating means driving motor 241 which rotates the rotating shaft 242 of the eliminating means which comprises the above radial type brush 243 forms a detecting switch 205. The above detecting switch 205 is activated by the contact with the eliminating means driving motor 241 when the screw driving motor 6 which drives screw shaft 8 travels with the trolley. The above detecting switch can be attached on a proper place of the trolley to be activated by contact with the proper place.
If the detecting switch 205 activates by being pushed by the above screw driving motor 6, the eliminating means driving motor 241 starts up and rotates the rotating shaft
242 of the eliminating means and the brush 243 rotates. And the screw driving motor 6 drives the reverse rotation of the screw shaft 8 by the activation of the detecting switch
205.
In the present invention comprising the above as described in the above, the agitating means travels inside of the apparatus, and by the rotation of the screw blade 22 of the screw shaft 8 driven by the screw driving motor 6, it mixes sawdust or chaffs into the livestock waste and foodstuff waste stored in the apparatus for treating, agitates and ferments the mixed livestock waste and foodstuff waste.
Since a number of unwanted substance collecting tools 203, jutting out to the direction of the screw shaft revolution, form on the screw shaft 8 which is driven by the screw driving motor 6 and mix live stock excretion, the unwanted substances such as vinyl, string, etc., mixed in the live stock waste are extracted being hooked by the collecting tools 203 when the screw shaft rotates in the livestock waste.
The agitating means, which mixes and ferments the foodstuff waste and livestock waste by collecting the unwanted substances being hooked by the collecting tools 203 according to the above method, moves together with the trolley to contact the unwanted substance eliminating means 204. When the above agitating means closely contacts the unwanted substance eliminating means 204, the screw driving motor 6 closely contacts the detecting switch 205, which is formed on one end of the eliminating means driving motor 241 of the unwanted substance eliminating means 204.
If the detecting switch 205 is pushed on, the eliminating means driving motor 241 formed in the unwanted substance eliminating means 204 drives the eliminating means rotating shaft 142, and rotates the brush 243 formed in a radial type on the above eliminating means rotating shaft 142, the screw driving motor 6 reverse rotates the screw shaft 8, then the brush 243 of the unwanted substance eliminating means 204 drops the unwanted substances such as vinyl or string, etc., which are clogged on the unwanted substance collecting tools 243 formed on the screw blades of the screw shaft of the agitating means .
As for the unwanted substance eliminating means, according to the present embodiment, it is recommendable to install in addition to the above embodiments 1 to
6; however, it is possible to install in addition to the existing apparatus for treating livestock waste and foodstuff waste as shown in Fig.l. However, the detail of an example is left out of the explanation.
Fig. 17 to Fig. 19 shows the embodiment 8 of the present invention. The description for the above embodiment referring to the drawings is as follows. The present embodiment further includes an air supplying and discharging means in addition to the embodiment 1 to 7.
This relates to an example of the above embodiments 1 to 7 having a fermentation vessel for fermenting livestock waste and foodstuff waste, and a trolley 5, which is installed on the top of the fermentation vessel for traveling in the longitudinal and transverse directions, and an agitating means for agitating foodstuff waste etc.
On the screw shaft 8 fomiing air outlets 9 and screw blades to agitate the foodstuff waste and livestock waste, an air supplying means to supply air from outside of the facility housing where the fermentation vessel is installed, on the upper part of the screw where it forms an air supplying means; a vapor discharging means which discharges the vapor originated during the agitation by the screw shaft, and a filtering means for filtering the above vapor discharged by the above vapor discharging means which is installed outside of the fermentation vessel.
The present embodiment basically comprises the above, but is not limited to the present embodiment; it is possible to compose in a way to add such an air supplying means, a vapor discharging means to the existing apparatus as shown in Fig. 1.
The fermentation vessel 302 of the apparatus for treating foodstuff waste and livestock waste according to the present invention is installed in a facility housing 301 as shown in Fig. 1. The fermentation vessel to be installed in the facility housing 301 forms rectangular parallelepiped type as published: guide rails 1 form on the top of the fermentation vessel 302 in the longitudinal direction of the fermentation vessel 302, traveling girders 4 forming driving rollers 331, which are installed on the guide rails 1 formed on the fermentation vessel 302, travel driven by the driving rollers 331 along the guide rails 1. A trolley 5 traversing perpendicularly to the traveling girders 4's travel is installed as described in the above.
The trolley 5, which is installed on the traveling girders 4 and traversing to the traveling girders' 4 travel, forms a screw shaft 8 forming screw blades 22 jutting downward. The upper part of the screw shaft 8 forms an air supplying means, which is installed on the trolley 5 and forcibly supplies air to the screw shaft 8.
The air supplying means, which is installed on the trolley 5 and forcibly supplies air to the screw shaft 8, forms a blower 351 forcibly supplying air to the screw shaft 8 and an induction pipe 352 inducing air to the above blower 351. The induction pipe 352 to induce air to the screw shaft 8 is extended from the blower
351 to the ventilator of the facility housing 301 where the fermentation vessel 302 is installed and supplies fresh air to the screw shaft 8 by the blower 351 as shown in Fig.
17 and Fig. 18. It is recommendable to form an induction pipe 352 having enough length for the traveling girders 4 and the trolley 5 to traverse; and forming in order not to be barred when the girders and the trolley travel.
The upper part of the screw shaft 8 where outdoor air is induced through the induction pipe 352 from the blower 351 forms a vapor discharging means 307 which sucks and discharges the vapor originated during the agitation of the waste stored in the fermentation vessel. It is possible to install two or more screw shafts 8 forming an appropriate branch type air passageway (334) which is divided starting from the blower
351 to the two more screw shaft in order to supply the induced air through the blower to the two or more screw shafts. And it is also possible to install each blower corresponding to each screw shaft.
A vapor discharging means 307 formed on the upper part of the screw shaft 8 comprises an inducing unit 371 which is attached to the trolley 5 which traverses on the traveling girders 4; a number of inlets 372 formed inside of the above inducing unit as shown in Fig. 19. The inducing unit 371 which forms a number of inlets 372 and travels with the trolley
5, preferably forms to make it possible for the vapor originated during the agitation of the foodstuff waste and live stock waste by the screw blades 22, to be induced to the inlets 372 of the inducing unit 371.
The inducing unit 371 having a number of inlets 372 forms one body with discharging pipe 373 which forms discharger 374 discharging the induced air into the inducing unit 371 to the outside, hi case two or more screw shafts are installed on the trolley, it is convenient to connect discharge pipes 373 of a number of discharging means 307 formed on each screw shaft 8, however, it is possible to apply other variations depending upon the convenience in design.
The induced vapor to the inlets 372 of the inducing unit 371 which form a discharge pipe 373 and discharger 374 around the screw shaft 8 is forced to be discharged to the outside of the fermentation vessel 302 by the discharger 373 through the discharge pipe 373 linked to the inducing unit 371 and extended to the outside of the fermentation vessel 302 as shown in Fig. 17. The end of the discharge pipe 373 discharging the vapor and stench, etc., which formed one body with the inducing unit 371 and linked to the outside of the fermenting container 302, is connected to the filtering means 308 formed outside of the fermentation vessel 302.
The filtering means 308, where one end of the discharge pipe 373 forms one body with the inducing unit 371 is linked, forms a filtering reservoir 381 where the end of the discharge pipe is submerged.
On the surface of the water in the filtering reservoir 381 where the end of the discharge pipe 373 is submerged, pieces of cork 382 are floated to prevent the stench arising in the filtering reservoir 381 from coming out of the filtering reservoir 381 in order to restrain a secondary origination of the stench, and make it possible for micro parasites inside the filtering reservoir 381 to work actively since air can penetrate pieces of cork 382.
In the example of the embodiment comprising the above, the foodstuff waste and livestock waste are stored in the fermentation vessel 302 installed in the facility housing 301.
If the foodstuff waste and livestock waste are stored in the fermentation vessel 302, the traveling girders 4 travel with the traversing of the trolley 5 along the guide rails 1 formed on the top of the fermentation vessel 302.
When the traveling girders and the trolley move, the screw shaft 8 rotates, and the rotating screw blades 22 agitate the foodstuff waste and livestock waste, the blower 351 of the air supplying means 305 on the trolley 5 starts up and forces to induce outdoor fresh air to the screw shaft via the induction pipe 352 extended to the ventilator of the facility housing 301 where the fennentation vessel 302 is installed.
When the screw blades 22 agitate the foodstuff waste or livestock waste stored in the fermentation vessel 302, the blower 351 of the air supplying means 305 formed on the trolley 5 starts up and forcibly supplies to the screw shaft 8 fresh air outside of the facility housing 301 through the induction pipe 352 extended to the ventilator of the facility housing 301 where the fermentation vessel 302 is installed
Since the blower 351 supplies air outside of the facility housing 301 to the foodstuff waste and livestock waste stored in the fermentation vessel 302 through the induction pipe 352, the foodstuff waste and livestock waste preserve an oxygen density to a certain level.
The blower 351 supplies out door air through the ventilator of the facility housing 301 and the induction pipe 352 to the screw shaft 8, the vapor generated through the agitation by the screw blades 22 of the above screw shaft 8 goes up. The vapor is forced and induced to the inlets 372 of the inducing unit 371 by the discharger 374 of the vapor discharging means 307 on the upper part of the screw shaft 8 where the vapor goes up by the blower 351 of the air supplying means 305.
Since the vapor forcibly induced by the discharger to the inlets 371 of the inducing unit 372 is connected to the filtering means 308 and the discharging pipe 373 as shown in Fig.17 and Fig.18, the vapor originated in the fermentation vessel 302 is induced to the filtering means 308.
The filtering means 308 where vapor is induced through the induction pipe 373 forms a water-filled filtering reservoir 381, the vapor induced to the above filtering reservoir
381 is diluted and changed to water; stench emitting material such as ammonia is resolved by micro parasites, and the cork stopper 382 floated on the surface of the filtering reservoir 381 prevents the efflux of the stench from the filtering reservoir 381.
The present embodiment can provide not only the extraction of the unwanted substances, but also the effect of purifying air as described in the above.
