Abstract

The invention relates to internal combustion engines without a crank gear for transforming a reciprocal movement of pistons into a rotational movement of the main shaft. Said engines belong to two-cycle and four-cycle engines and devices. The aim of the invention is to reduce the external dimensions of the engines, and to increase the indicated power, accompanied by improved technical parameters and serviceability. The inventive engine comprises a working shaft (2) which is mounted in a body (3) with the aid of bearings (4) and provided with an orifice which is offset at a distance of ¼ of a piston stroke from the axis of rotation. A crankshaft (6) is mounted on the working shaft through said orifice and with the aid of a bearing (5). The crankshaft (6) is provided with two oppositely arranged barrels which are offset with in relation to each other at a distance of ¼ of a piston stroke from the axis of rotation of the crankshaft. Said barrels are embodied on the opposite projected ends of the crankshaft and connected to bars (8) with the aid of bearings (7). Said bars are arranged at a right angle to each other. An intersection point of the bars coincides with a rotation axis of the working shaft. The invention also relates to an opposite crankless engine provided with parallel bars and accessories.
