Abstract

Cette invention se rapporte à une machine à clouer ou à toute machine similaire servant à enfoncer des éléments de boulonnerie dans une pièce par coups multiples frappés sur l'élément de boulonnerie et comprenant à cet effet un logement et un ensemble percuteur monté mobile dans le logement. L'ensemble percuteur comporte un ensemble enfonceur destiné à frapper l'élément de boulonnerie devant être enfoncé dans la pièce. Un ensemble canon est monté mobile sur le logement et possède un rail d'enfoncement le long duquel se déplacent l'ensemble enfonceur et l'élément de boulonnerie, lorsque celui-ci est enfoncé dans la pièce à fixer. Cette machine à enfoncer des éléments de boulonnerie possède un mécanisme d'alimentation relié en mode opérationnel à l'ensemble canon, de façon à faire avancer mécaniquement l'élément de boulonnerie dans le rail d'enfoncement. Le rail d'enfoncement possède une surface de guidage à proximité adjacente de l'ouverture de l'ensemble canon, de façon à diriger l'élément de boulonnerie lorsque celui-ci est enfoncé dans la pièce à fixer. Un ensemble de fixation amovible fixe de façon amovible l'ensemble canon au logement de cette machine. Un ensemble de commande commande le fonctionnement de cette machine de façon à en préserver l'énergie. Une bobine de clous à toiture assemblés est conçue pour être utilisée avec cette machine. Chacun des clous de la bobine est enrobé d'un matériau thermoplastique, qui sert de lubrifiant facilitant l'enfoncement des clous.
