Abstract
A maintenance method for a reactor core internals, wherein a radiation shielding body is provided on a flange of a reactor pressure vessel, a guide pipe is attached to the radiation shielding body, a guide rail installed inside the guide pipe is used to carry a maintenance device for maintaining core internals into the reactor pressure vessel, and the core internals are maintained using the maintenance device in an atmospheric environment, whereby a maintenance device of a comparatively simple structure can maintain an existing core internals in a short time and efficiently even with a shroud installed in a reactor pressure vessel.
