Abstract

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf Beschichtungen von verschiedenartigen Substraten, wobei eine hydrophile Polymerschicht über eine polymere Haftvermittlerschicht an ein Substrat gebunden wird. Ebenso wird ein Verfahren zur Herstellung dieser Schichtsysteme vorgestellt. Als Anwendung dieser erfindungsgemässen Schichten bietet sich der Einsatz z.B. als Immobilisierungsmatrix und zur Unterdrückung unspezifischer Proteinadsorption in Biosensoren, MALDI Targets und anderen bioanalytischen Geräten an. Weiterhin können sie zur Biokompatibilisierung von Implantaten und zur Beschichtung von Kontaktlinsen verwendet werden. Optische Elemente, die mit derartigen Beschichtungen versehen sind, beschlagen nicht mehr. Darüber hinaus sind die Schichten schmutzabweisend bzw. selbstreinigend.
