Abstract

The invention discloses a new polypeptide- tRNA guanine glycosyltransferase 17.82, the polynucleotide encoding said polypeptide, and a process for producing the polypeptide by recombinant DNA technology. It also discloses methods of applying the polypeptide for the treatment of various diseases, such as protein metabolism disorders. This invention also discloses antagonist against said polypeptide and thereof therapy uses. In addition, it refers to the use of said polynucleotide encoding this new tRNA guanine glycosyltransferase 17.82.
