Abstract

A vehicle lift, as for wheelchairs, incorporates a first driving means (2) to raise and lower a platform adapted to take a wheelchair in a vertical plane, and second driving means (3) to move the platform into and out of the vehicle and restraining means to secure the wheelchair and occupant during the motion of the lift and subsequently during the motion of the vehicle.
