Abstract

The game of chance - lotto type consists of the following: the players guess the winning combination that is being determined by random, by means of an appropriate device. The device, consisting of a static and a movable part, round shaped, contains a sequence of numbered fields in two different colors, arranged according to colors one after another, and according to numbers in an ascending sequence, the numbers of various colors ascending in the opposite direction. The winning combination is determined by successive spinning and stopping of the wheel, in such a way that the winning number is both the number and the color of the number to which the mark of the static part points after the wheel has stopped. The winning combination consists of an ascending number sequence in two different colors, the arrangement of the colors being determined by the rules of the game. For guessing of the winning combinations, the participants use appropriate tickets containing the fields which by color and by marks correspond to those of the playing device.

Description

GAME OF CHANCE -LOTTO TYPE
Technical field
This invention refers to a game of chance - lotto type. According to the international classification, it could be placed into the class A 63 F 3/06 board games; drawing lots - lottery or lotto; systems, apparatus and devices for the control of such machines, i.e. G 07 C 15/00; creation of random numbers; lottery machines.
The invention describes a device for playing the game, i.e. determining the winning numbers, in a lotto-type game, accompanying accessories for playing, i.e. tickets and the way of playing the game.
Background art
As far as the applicant knows, so far there has been no such game of chance. The existing game of chance roulette is based on the rotation of a wheel with red and black numbered fields and tossing the ball, which stops on the winning field. The game "Wheel of Fortune" is played in such a way that a player spins the wheel with numbered fields and after the wheel has stopped rotating, the winning field is the one below the pointer. The game of "Lotto" is played in such a way that the players choose combinations of numbers on the tickets, by marking a certain number of numbered fields and by random drawing of balls bearing numbers from the lottery wheel, the winning combination of numbers is determined.
Disclosure of the Invention
This lotto-type game of chance presented by this invention is a game of numbers with drawing the winning number and colors combination by means of the playing device (hereinafter referred to as the "lotto-roulette wheel"). On the tickets, the players mark a certain numbers combination in one, two or more colors, in the first row two colors, being red and black. In each round of the game presented by this invention, a certain number of color-marked numbers is being drawn, 9 numbers on red and black from the group of numbers marked with a number and with color, in the first row from 1 to 99 of red and black color. The number that has been drawn with the corresponding color does not participate in further draws. The winning combination consists of the drawn numbers of corresponding colors, arranged in an ascending sequence. The lotto-roulette that is used to play this game is of round shape, consisting of a static and a movable part. The movable part of the lotto-roulette wheel is a wheel of an arbitrary diameter, spinning around its axis only in one direction, when exposed to a driving force, for instance when moved by hand. The wheel contains a certain number of numbered fields, 198 recommended, an equal number in each color, arranged one after another. Each of the fields contains a number, in one of the two corresponding colors, from 1 to 99 in the first row. The numbers in the fields are arranged in an arithmetic sequence, in such a way that the number sequences in the fields of the first color rise in the direction opposite to the direction in which the numbers in the fields of the other color rise. Each field with the belonging number may individually be removed from the surface of the lotto-roulette wheel.
Between each field there are marks dividing the fields of different colors. The wheel is provided with a handle to make it rotate. The static part of the lotto-roulette wheel is the housing and a protective panel, behind which there is space for the person rotating the wheel, located so as not to see the contents of the fields. The protective panel is provided with a signaling device to inform the person with an appropriate signal, primarily a light signal, that he may spin the wheel.
On the static part of the game device there is a mark placed above the movable surface that points to the number and the field of a certain color when the wheel of the lotto-roulette, once spun, stops.
Brief description of the drawing:
Figure 1 represents the view from above of the movable part (1,2) and of the static part (7) of the lotto-roulette wheel, without the static part of the groove through which the handles go; Figure 2 represents an enlarged segment of the lotto-roulette with details of the fields
(3,4), sticks (5), pointer (6), movable part (1) and static part (7); Figure 3 represents the view from above on the movable part (1,2) and static part (7) of the lotto-roulette wheel; Figure 4 shows a playing ticket containing a red collective field (8), a black collective field (9), fields for marking the played variation (11) and playing fields for a subscription for several rounds in advance (10);
Figure 5 represents a sketch of the cross-section of the lotto roulette wheel; Figure 6 represents a sketch of the spatial view of the lotto-roulette wheel.
The lotto-roulette wheel for the game according to the invention is of round shape, having an appropriate diameter, for instance 2 m, consisting of a static (1) and a movable part (7). The movable part of the lotto-roulette wheel is a surface with a round ground plan, laid horizontally (1), provided with handles fastened onto it (2), which spins together with the handles only in one direction, when at least one of the handles is being exposed to a driving force, for instance when moved by hand. This surface may be in any color and it is divided into 198 fields, 99 red ones and 99 black ones, so that the red fields (4) and the black fields (3) are arranged one after another. Each of the fields in either red or black color contain a number ranging from 1 to 99. Each of the black and red fields with the belonging number may individually be removed from the surface of the lotto-roulette wheel.
The starting field is the one with number 1, in red color. Looking from that field in the chosen direction, each other field is red. In the same direction, on the red fields, numbers ranging from 1 to 99 are arranged in an arithmetic order. Right next to the starting field, looking into the chosen direction, there is the field with number 99 in black color.
Looking further in the same direction, from that field on each other field is black. In the black field, looking into the chosen direction, the numbers ranging from 1 to 99 are arranged backwards.
Between each field there are sticks (5) of appropriate height, for instance 10 cm high, separating the fields of various colors. The sticks are placed vertically to the surface of the fields. Handles (2) are placed on the lateral sides of the device, along its entire length, at an appropriate distance, for instance 30 cm, making one entity with the above mentioned surface and which enable spinning of the lotto-roulette wheel.
The static part of the lotto-roulette wheel (7) is the housing and the protective panel (12), placed vertically above the edge of one part, for instance one third of the lotto-roulette wheel. Behind this panel there is space for the person rotating the wheel, located so as not to see the contents of the fields. On the back side of the panel there is a signaling lamp, for instance in green color, informing the person by a light signal the he/she may rotate the wheel. Opposite to the panel there is a simple mechanism, in form of a pointer (6), placed horizontally at an appropriate height, for instance 5 cm, above the movable surface of the device, that points to the number and the field of a certain color when the lotto-roulette wheel stops after being spun.
In the game according to this invention, the combination is being chosen by means of a ticket shown in figure 4. The ticket makes it possible to play one of the three offered variants. There are two collective fields on the ticket. The first collective field (8) consists of boxes in red color with numbers ranging from 1 to 99 in red color (hereinafter referred to as the "red collective field"). The other collective field (9) consists of boxes in black color with printed numbers ranging from 1 to 99 in black color (hereinafter referred to as the "black collective field"). Both collective fields filled out represent one variant with either one, three or five combinations. In each single variant, the participant guesses which one of the nine numbers with the corresponding colors is going to be drawn in a certain round.
Under the red and black collective field there is the control sequence (11) of 3 boxes with the numbers 10, 15 and 20 written, denoting how many numbers have been marked in each collective field.
The game according to the invention allows as many participants as wished. They all fill out the ticket according to the invention. Numbers are being drawn by a certain person by rotating the lotto-roulette wheel.
The person that draws the numbers stands in the space behind the protective panel, where from he/she rotates the lotto-roulette wheel, without being able to see the contents of the fields while doing so.
The lotto-roulette wheel is being put into the initial position. The starting field in each round is 1 red.
In each rotation of the lotto-roulette wheel, the wheel must spin around making at least one full circle. The signal lamp, being located on the protective panel, within the sight of the person rotating the lotto-roulette wheel, signals that the wheel may be moved. After it has been moved, by a single hand move, the person moves away from the lotto-roulette wheel, making one step backwards and waits until the signal lamp is switched on again. When the lotto-roulette stops, a simple mechanism (pointer) points to one of the
198 fields, i.e. it points the number and the field of a certain color. This number with the belonging color does not participate in further draws and it is being removed from the lotto-roulette wheel, whereas the place that it used to occupy now becomes the starting position for drawing of the second number and its belonging color. In this way nine numbers with belonging colors are being drawn, which make the winning combination. The winning combination consists of the numbers in corresponding color that have been drawn, arranged in an arithmetic order. If during the drawing the same number in both colors (red and black) is being drawn, then in the winning combination they will be arranged in the arithmetic order, in such a way that the red color comes before the same number of the other color.
The ticket is being filled out in such a way that both in the red and black collective fields either ten, fifteen or twenty numbers are being marked off by putting for instance the sign "x", as well as the corresponding number of boxes in the sequence, depending on the chosen variant. The marked numbers in the red collective field do not have to be identical with the numbers marked in the black collective field.
If the number of the numbers in the played variant is smaller than the number of the numbers marked in the box of the sequence, the ticket participates with the number of numbers of the played variant, whereas the number of the gains is being calculated according to the number of numbers marked in the box of the sequence. If the number of the numbers in the played variant is higher than the number of the numbers marked in the box of the sequence, the system is being shortened, in such a way that only that many first numbers are valid, starting from 1 to 99, as there are numbers marked in the box of the sequence.
In case that a number in the sequence has not been marked, the played variant is valid, but only with 5 combinations at the most. When two or three boxes in the sequence have been marked, the variant marked in the box of the sequence with the smallest number of combinations participates, except in case when one of the numbers marked in the box of the sequence corresponds to the variant in both collective fields. In this case the number of combinations that was marked in the box of the sequence is being taken into account, that corresponds to the played variant of both collective fields.
If a player marks more than 20 numbers in either the red of the black collective field of each ticket, but does not mark any number in the boxes of the sequence, the ticket participates in the game by taking into account 20 numbers, in each collective field, from smaller to higher.
If there are less than 10 numbers in either the red or the black collective field marked on the ticket, box marked in the sequence, the played variant is taken into account.
Variants : Number of combinations
Variant A
10 numbers in the red and 10 numbers in the black collective field 1
Variant B
15 numbers in the red and 15 numbers in the black collective field 3 Variant C
20 numbers in the red and 20 numbers in the black collective field 5
By having paid the variant A, marking 10 numbers in the red and 10 numbers in the black collective field and by correct guesses of the drawn numbers and their belonging colors, i.e. by winning a certain range of gain, the participant gets the right to one gain of this range. The gain of a higher range excludes the gain of the lower range.
By having paid the variant B, marking 15 numbers in the red and 15 numbers in the black collective field and by correct guesses of the drawn numbers and their belonging colors, i.e. by winning a certain range of gain, the participant gets the right to three gains of this range. The gain of a higher range excludes the gain of the lower range. By having paid the variant C, marking 20 numbers in the red and 20 numbers in the black collective field and by correct guesses of the drawn numbers and their belonging colors, i.e. by winning a certain range of gain, the participant gets the right to five gains of this range. The gain of a higher range excludes the gain of the lower range.
