Abstract

The present invention encompasses a electronic device for dynamically displaying key images based on opeerating mode of the mobile terminal. An electronic device has a plurality of operating modes (such as a phone mode, PDA mode, game mode, etc.), each operating mode having control images that represent function controls of the operating mode. The electronic device comprising two elements, first element being the main body and having a display and the second element being a cover (movable keypad) having transparent push buttons. When the movable element is covering the display, the electronic device dynamically displays the control images on the display, wheich are visible through the push buttons.
