Abstract

This utility model is an electric insect trap by electrodes which is similar to high voltage burglar fence upside downed. This invention consists of any convenient shape plastic trough (P) which several electrode pairs (D and E) is attached on inner-side wall and is applied AC power (F) through safety resistor (B). The cockroach climbs up peripheral duct (L) and down on inner side vertical wall by special feet which is smear out high surface tension material the way. Its climbing down mechanism is that first at least one foot is hanging on perfect surface tension matched point and it searchs the other matched point by the other foot and if the other foot attaches perfectly first foot releases and it repeats such way. At this process its foot touches electrode, then it would pull of all feet and is fallen in through bottom by gravity. And this electrodes system can be modified and adapted at any place against any insect to wipe out of. This invention is new way of anti-insect without chemical contamination.

THE ELECTRIC COCKROACH TRAP
TECHNICAL FIELD
This device(Utility Model) is an electric trap to collect insects without environment contamination as one alternative of anti-insects chemical killer.
BACKGROUND ART We know the high voltage burglar fence and the old high voltage rat killing trap which was one of first electrical applications appeared at the beginning of electricity culture.
Both mean dangerous to us and we may evade such kind method subconsciously.
We know the feeling or degree of electric shock from safety book, that is, if 1 ma current feed through our body, one could feel small irritation, and if 5 ma, we feel pain and if 20 ma, our muscle falls into convulsion(vibration) and could not escape from touched electric circuit by ourself will, and if 50 ma, very dangerous and if 100 ma, fatal.
When the electrode pair of this invention is shorted,the current is limited 2.5 ma less than above 5 ma by safety resistor(B). Furthermore the distance between electrodes is 3 mm and they are inner side and are covered safely.
I should receive certain allowance from WIPO so that I could describe about yet unproved habits of insects at present times which may be only my observation and my guess to be born new custom easily.

The cockroach seems to be make best use of until their excretion.
But their dung is mild hygroscopic and is painted on wall and piled up at the bottom of floor as powder enough inducing a disease of our respiratory.
I dare insist that some old cockroach has intelligence and seem to recognize any danger including chemical drug,that is, what I must prove systematically.
But most cockroaches seem not to keep certain remember. Once I had released several cockroaches captured in electric trap after marking them by paint,and I had found them recaptured in the same place and trap.
And I found that they had disappeared near the place at which electric trap has been locating and they had migrated to the other place.
In this point of view this invention has the function of anti-insect ultrasonic repelling machine. DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
This device operates according to next sequences.

To hygienics,It should be a material which would not deteriorate even however long it leaves except dehumidifying.
The dead cockroaches would not deteriorate even left for a long time.
Then this device has to be located at corner of floor or cockroaches path.
Then cockroach enters at the inlet(K),and climbing through cylindrical chimney (L),next it begins to climb down at (M).
Their young go down speedily like bukket and almost 90 % fall down.
Some who is cautious,walk down cautiously, then it feels electric field or is shocked, here most would return urgently and reflectively, this phenomenon needs the saw teeth electrode pair(D) to increase the opportunity to be shocked.
Because they forgot or hunger they will adventure again and again.

Even though they could escape safely their infants will have low surviving rate so that this invention might not deteriorate its performance. And if they had grown adult they will be insensitive to electric field.

A: is power input(AC 110 or 220 volt) AC only so that it could not decompse the electrodes electro-chemically. B'- is safety resistors which will be printed on insulator sheet with thick film resistor paste.
22 k-ohms in case of AC 110 volt and 470 k-ohms,220 volt. C-' is electric fuse.
D: is one pair of top electrode like saw teeth. E: is cylindrical electrodes which have 10 mm width and is arranged with 3 mm gap vertically.
F: is power cord. G: is sheet array resistors which is attached outside wall of plastic trough(P). H: is spacer which make a cylindrical air column between the trough and the cover through which insect climbs up toward innerside. I: is cut line for Fig.l (C).

The electric cockroach trap shown as Figure lean be built at every corner of existence for bug to wipe out of. The shape of the trough can be triangled.
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY
This invention's modified concept and principle(fence) can be applied at many region so that insects do not enter and any space at which could be protected from approaching insects Furthermore it can be equipped and installed on any furniture and machine and wall of room itself.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
1. The electric cockroach trap to wipe out of existence which is fabricated like the structure shown as Figure 1 which consists of cylindrical or square or triangle insulator trough(P) which electrodes(D or E) is attached on inner wall and is applied AC voltage(110 or 220 volt) through safety resistors. It operates like burglar high voltage fence upside downed first and second usual way so that cockroach can be fallen in it by electric shock and is trapped and never escape. The claim includes an application of its principle and structure in the other area and against the other insects.
2. The saw(gear) teeth electrode pair(D) to increase the yield of drop in it when cockroach is returning urgently and reflectively by electric shock.
