Abstract

For avoiding the inconvenience experienced upon sudden exhaustion of one's shaving cream dispenser, there is proposed a combination of a primary (10), regular size dispenser, attached to a secondary (22), small size dispenser in a back-to-back position, e.g. by a band (32) surrounding their bottom rims.

Description

SHAVING CREAM DISPENSERS
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to pressurized dispensers in particular as used for dispensing shaving cream lather.
As well known, such containers are charged with a propellant gas
(butane, isobutane, FC-114 and others) serving the duel function of pressurizing the contents to be dispensed, as well as to cause foaming of the ingredients upon ejection from the nozzle (usually at the proportion of 95% cream ingredients and 5% propellant).
It too often happens that containers become exhausted unexpectedly, causing the user's inconvenience and frustration.
It is this very situation that the present invention aims to provide a solution for.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
Thus, according to the present invention there is provided, in combination, a primary pressurized dispenser and a secondary pressurized dispenser attached to each other in a back-to-back position.
BREIF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
The invention is exemplified with reference to accompanying drawings, wherein - Fig. 1 shows the combination of dispensers in one, normal position of use; and
Fig. 2 shows the combination in a second, upside-down position.
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
As shown, primary container 10 is of any conventional type, having a cylindrical wall 12 and a cover 14 to which a dispensing valve assembly 16 is
mounted.
Customary, a collar portion 18 is present, which is useful for clicking therearound a removable cap 20.
Now, according to the present invention, there is provided a secondary container 22, with cover portion 24 and valve assembly 26. Collar 28 and cap 30 are present, all as in the primary container 10. The secondary container is, however, of a much smaller volume, and is mounted back-to-back to the primary container. The manner of attaching the containers 10 and 22 to each other is of no significance and can be achieved by various means, such as by a ring or band 32 surrounding their bottom rims.
During normal use, the dispenser is held in the upright position as depicted in Fig. 1 and the primary container is consumed. If suddenly exhausted, the assembly of the containers 10 and 22 is inverted as seen in Fig. 2, whereby now the cap 20 will function as the stand when placed
upside-down. Besides the effect of sales promotion, the combination of the two containers offers a neat and inexpensive solution to the inconvenient situation as above described.
Various changes and modifications of the invention will be apparent.

Claims

WHAT IS CLAIMED IS:
