Abstract

The invention relates to a hammock stand (1) that receives a hammock (5) and that comprises a substantially V- or U-shaped frame with two opposite hammock suspension means (4) and support legs (9) for lateral stabilization. The aim of the invention is to improve known hammock stands in terms of their transportability. To this end, the frame comprises at least one folding hinge (6) that is preferably disposed in the center area of the frame.

DESCRIPTION

The invention relates to a hammock stand for receiving a hammock with an essentially V or U-shaped frame, with two opposite hammock suspension means and supports for lateral stabilization.

Such a hammock stand is known for example from DE 44 43 294. The tried and tested hammock stand has at least approximately a floor frame lying in a plane parallel to the floor and at least two inclined spars which are diagonally upwardly diverging in a vertical plane perpendicular to this plane and which are adjustable in length and each with at least one hammock hanging means. The bottom frame of the hammock stand described is essentially H-shaped. The cross arms of the base frame represent supports for lateral stabilization. To transport the known hammock stand, it is necessary to disassemble it into its individual parts. On the one hand this is time consuming and on the other hand there is a risk that one of the many individual components can be lost.

Hammock stands are also known which cannot be disassembled into their individual parts. With such hammock stands, transport in your own car is practically impossible. This invention is therefore based on the object of specifying a hammock stand which can be transported as simply and space-saving as possible.

The object on which the invention is based is achieved in a hammock stand for receiving a hammock with a substantially V-shaped or U-shaped frame, with two opposite hammock suspension means and supports for lateral stabilization in that the frame has at least one folding joint, which is preferably in the area the center of the frame is attached. With the help of the joint, it is possible to fold the two spar parts of the V-shaped or U-shaped frame onto one another. By this measure, the total length of the hammock stand is cut in half, so that it can be easily transported by car.

A first embodiment advantageously provides that the supports consist of two bent tubes which are at their apex with the U or

V-shaped frame are connected so that the pipe ends point downwards. According to this embodiment, the frame stands on four

Feet. Lateral tipping of the frame is no longer possible.

However, all other known supports for lateral stabilization are also conceivable, for example also the mounting of the frame on a plate, or two lateral straight tubes which are arranged at an angle to one another. A second embodiment of the invention advantageously provides that supports are connected at their apex to the frame by means of rotary joints. If the hammock stand is transported by car or if the hammock stand is to be stored, the side supports can be screwed into the plane spanned by the V- or U-shaped frame. This requires a 90 ° rotation of the supports. This advantageously further reduces the space requirement.

In a further development of the invention it is advantageously provided that two wheels are provided on at least one support. The wheels make it very easy to move the hammock stand from place to place. This is particularly useful for storing the hammock in bad weather. It is conceivable to equip the hammock stand with three or four wheels to make it easier to drive. In the folded state, the hammock stand according to the invention can be used as a means of transport. For example, bathing bags etc. can be transported from the car to the beach using the mobile hammock frame.

In order to increase the stability of the hammock stand, a configuration is recommended in which the wheels are arranged on the supports in such a way that the undersides of the wheels do not come into contact with the ground in a normal standing position of the frame. Accidental rolling of the hammock stand on one uneven ground is advantageously avoided. If the hammock stand is to be moved, it only has to be tilted slightly so that it rests on the wheels. A handle is advantageously provided on the hammock stand to facilitate moving and tilting the hammock stand.

The fact that the U-shaped or V-shaped frame is height-adjustable on one or both sides ensures that the hammock suspended in the frame can be adjusted to the respective ideal height for any user. It also makes it possible to use hammocks of different sizes with a stand.

In a particularly expedient embodiment of the invention it is provided that at least one adapter with fastening means for receiving a basket, a plate or a screen is provided. This adapter is preferably attached to a handle of the hammock stand. However, any other fastening position is also conceivable. The plate attached to the adapter can serve as a table for storing food and drinks, as well as a shelf for all possible parts, for example as a luggage rack for the hammock.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the adapter is designed as a sleeve and for receiving a plate with a mounting tube, a basket with mounting tube, or a screen with mounting tube. The respective mounting tube can simply be inserted into the sleeve and locked there.

According to a further advantageous embodiment, it is provided that the adapter is designed as a clamp and serves to receive a fastening tube or a screen. The adapter tube is used, for example, to connect a plate that can be changed in its horizontal position to the adapter designed as a clamp. The plate has a sleeve that can be placed on the adapter tube. The plate can be connected to the frame and can be rotated 360 ° in its horizontal position.

The fact that the distance between the hammock suspension means is approximately 1.40 m to approximately 1.90 m ensures that the hammock stand according to the invention can also be accommodated on very small areas, for example building icons. The distance between the hanging mat suspension means advantageously corresponds approximately to the size of the user.

According to an advantageous embodiment of the invention it is provided that the hammock is a seat-lying hammock, in particular made of flexible material such as fabric, wherein the hammock has a longitudinal direction and a width direction in the untensioned state, and ropes for attachment to a fastening device in Arranged longitudinally of the hammock and attached to both sides of the hammock on the hammock edge. Through this Design, the hammock can be used in combination with the hammock stand as a kind of hanging seat. Tilting out of the hammock is no longer possible due to the arrangement of the ropes along the longitudinal direction of the hammock, since the direction of oscillation takes place in the lying or sitting direction due to the fastening of the ropes according to the invention, and no longer transversely thereto. Another great advantage of the hammock described is that the hammock is much more space-saving. Previously, the hammock had to be attached to the broad sides so that the long sides had to be included between the attachment points.

It is particularly expedient that at least some, in particular the ropes of a back part, are adjustable in length. In this way, the inclination of the back part or the foot part can be adapted to the needs of the user. The hammock can be used as a kind of hammock or as a hammock. It is possible to make all the ropes adjustable in length, or to combine the ropes into groups that are adjustable in length. One possibility for length adjustment is that a rope or a group of ropes has two or more fastening devices, preferably loops. The fastening devices can also consist of metal, plastic or wooden rings, etc. In order to achieve a particularly high degree of flexibility, it is provided according to an advantageous development of the invention that all the ropes are adjustable in length. This enables individual adaptation to a user. According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that each rope, or a group of ropes, has one or more tensioning devices. The clamping devices are used for length adjustment. The tensioning device can be designed, for example, like known tensioning devices in tent cords.

A preferred development of the invention provides that ropes form one or more loops on the side facing away from the hammock. These loops serve as a fastening device. Each rope can be designed with several loops. But it is also conceivable that one or more groups of ropes are equipped with one or more common loops. The loops are preferably attached one behind the other so that there are several options for fastening a rope or a group of ropes to a suitable device, for example a hook. Depending on the loop chosen for the suspension, this or the ropes have a different effective length.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, it is provided that the ropes of the back part and the remaining ropes each form one or more loops. It is particularly useful to separate the ropes of the back section and the ropes of the rest of the hammock so that the inclination of the backrest can be adjusted separately. 1 shows the hammock frame 1 according to the invention. The hammock frame 1 consists of a left spar 2 and a right spar 3. In Fig. 4 a section of the hammock frame 1 with handle 14 and adapter 16 is shown. It can be seen that an adapter 16 designed as a clamp with an adapter tube 15 is attached to a handle 14 of the hammock frame 1. In the exemplary embodiment shown, the adapter tube 15 serves to receive a plate 17 which is adjustable in its position. The plate 17 is pushed onto the adapter tube 15 by means of a sleeve 18.

5 shows a schematic representation of a hammock 5 according to the invention. This has a longitudinal direction 19 and a width direction 20. In this case, the hammock 5 has a rectangular shape. The ropes 21 for attachment to a fastening device are arranged in the longitudinal direction 19 of the hammock 5, and attached to the hammock edge 22 19 on both sides of the hammock 5.

The rope lengths can be varied as required.

In Fig. 8 a hammock 5 is shown with several length-adjustable ropes 21. The individual ropes 21 run together to form a bundle 33, from which a plurality of loops 34 located one behind the other are formed. The effective length of the ropes 21 changes depending on the loop 34 with which the hammock 5 is suspended in hammock suspension means 4.

PATENT CLAIMS

1. Hammock stand for holding a hammock (5) with a substantially V- or U-shaped frame (1), with two opposing hammock suspension means (4) and supports (9) for lateral stabilization, characterized in that
