BEST MODE OF FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
A banner advertising and electronic commerce method through a client homepage is described in detail with reference to the accompanied drawings, in accordance with the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a concept drawing illustrating a banner advertising method in the present invention.
As shown in Fig. 1, in an internet banner advertising method of the invention, client homepages 21,22,23 in which advertisements will be inserted, are connected to a master server 10, and banner advertising data is transmitted to the client homepages 21,22,23 from the master server 10, and data for the number of clicked advertisements in each client homepage 21,22,23 is added up in the master server 10, per the respective homepage.
For this work, a position of the advertisements in the client homepages 21,22,23 is determined according to a size and shape of the advertisements to be inserted, and the advertising data inserted in such determined position is managed by the master server 10 collectively.
That is, visitors 31,32,33,34 of the client homepages 21,22,23 can see the advertisements in the client homepages even without a management of a client server for the advertisements. Just, the client server initially installs program to insert an internet banner advertising therein, after that, the inserted advertisement is controlled by the master server 10.
The advertisement is automatically inserted in the client homepage selected by the master server 10, and the inserted advertisement is removed when the duration for the advertising is expired, and then an advertising updating work is performed to carry a new advertisement.
Fig. 2 is a drawing showing a correlation between the master server and the client homepage in the banner advertising and electronic commerce method using the inventive client homepage. As shown in Fig. 2, in the banner advertising and electronic commerce method, an advertisement owner can select by himself a client homepage in which his own advertisement will be inserted, then a banner advertising is inserted in the client homepage selected by the advertisement owner.
In Fig. 2, in case a plurality of advertisements are inserted in an advertising area of the client homepage, it is searched an advertisement area vacated at the beginning date to carry the advertisement in the client homepages in which individual advertisements will appear, so as to insert the banner advertising therein.
Such operations are controlled by the master server connected with the respective client homepages, and visitors of the client homepages can meet the banner advertisements through the client homepages though the actual advertisement exists in the master server.
Fig. 3 is a drawing providing a banner advertising changed in Fig. 2.
As shown in Fig. 3, a size and shape of the advertisement carried in the client homepage are changeable and are controlled by the master server.
Additionally, in the banner advertising and electronic commerce method through the client homepage, only an advertisement having a cursor of a mouse on its pointed spot may be highlighted by activating only the advertisement among a plural number of advertisements reported in the client homepage, and in a case of a specific advertisement, an already stored sound signal may be outputted when the cursor of mouse is positioned on its spot.
Above the banner advertising method through the client homepage was described, and in the following the electronic commerce method through the banner advertisement is described. Fig. 4 is a schematic block diagram showing the electronic commerce method through a use of the banner advertising in a client homepage in the invention. As shown in Fig. 4, a supplier of goods requests a superintendent of the master server to sell his own goods, and its corresponding superintendent in the master server produces a banner advertisement 41 corresponding to the goods, after that, registers it for the master server 40. Herewith the corresponding master server 40 has numerous banner advertisements requested by other suppliers of goods and produced and registered by the superintendent of the master server. Then, an individual, or a group and enterprise, who possess homepages 42, are connected with the master server 40 to select the banner advertisement 41 desired, among numerous banner advertisements registered for the master server 40, after that, the corresponding banner advertisement 41 is automatically inserted in the their own homepages 42. After that, a visitor 44 connects with the corresponding homepage 42 and clicks the banner advertisement 41 inserted in the corresponding homepage 42, to thereby connect the visitor 44 with the master server 40 and introduce the corresponding goods. At this time, if the visitor 44 wants to purchase the goods, its purchase is done through an electronic settlement concerning of a price of the goods and the goods is transferred by the supplier of the corresponding goods to the visitor 44.
Describing such procedures in detail referring to Fig. 5, in a step SI 00 a supplier of goods requests a master server superintendent who may operate a shopping mall or may be an agent for a sale of goods, to sell his own goods, and the master server superintendent produces the banner advertisement 41 for corresponding goods freely in a shape and size the supplier of the goods needs to. The banner advertisement 41 produced by the master server superintendent is registered for a corresponding category in the master server 40 in which a large number of banner advertisements 41 requested by other suppliers of goods then produced are stored through their classification, simultaneously, data for an introduction of corresponding goods is also stored in a step S200.
Subsequently, a owner of the homepage who possesses the homepage 42 in the internet, connects with the master server 40 to select the constant number of banner advertisements for goods sellable by the owner himself, among numerous banner advertisements classified by respective categories and registered for the corresponding master server 40, in a step S400, and then, the master server 40 transmits to and inserts the banner advertisements by a given number into a vacant space of the owner own homepage 42 automatically, in a step S500. The banner advertisements based on the given number inserted in the homepage 42 are managed by the master server 40. When the corresponding banner advertisements are removed from the master server 40, the banner advertisements by the given number inserted in the homepage 42 are also eliminated automatically.
Next, the visitor 44 connects with the corresponding homepage 42 to click one out of banner advertisements based on the constant number carried in the corresponding homepage in a step S600, the visitor 44 is connected with the master server 40 in a step S700. At this time, in case the goods is sold, information for the owner of the homepage having an insertion of the banner advertisements by a given number therein is also transferred to the master server 40 to pay a part of profits for the sold goods to the owner of the corresponding homepage.
When the visitor 44 connects with the master server 40, the master server 40 introduces goods corresponding to a banner advertising clicked or connects the visitor 44 with a server operated by a seller of goods to introduce the goods corresponding to the banner advertising clicked. If the visitor 44 who received the introduction service for the goods, wants to purchase the goods, he describes his name and address etc. required by the master server 40 and purchases the corresponding goods through an electronic settlement for a price of the goods in a step S800. Then the master server 40 notifies the supplier of the goods of it, and the supplier sends the goods purchased through the electronic settlement to the visitor's described address and also pays a part of profits gained by a sale of the goods to the owner of the homepage having an insertion of the corresponding banner advertising in a step S900. Therefore, the owners of the homepage try to insert the advertisements of goods sellable by themselves by a large number in their own homepages, and according to that, sellers of the goods can insert the banner advertisements publishing their own goods in a plural number of homepages.
For example in afore-described procedures, it operates as shown in Fig. 6. If a supplier of an infant's goods requests the master server superintendent to sell the corresponding infant's goods, the superintendent of master server produces a banner advertising 64-2 concerning of corresponding infant's goods and registers the banner advertising 64-2 of the corresponding infant's goods within a category concerned with infant's goods in the master server. Then, a owner of homepage connects with a corresponding master server 40 and selects the banner advertising 64-2 for corresponding infant's goods sellable by the owner himself, among numerous banner advertisements 61,62,63,64-1,64-2 classified by each category and registered, after that, the corresponding banner advertising 64-2 is automatically inserted by the master server 40 in a banner advertising area 65 as an extra space of the owner own homepage 42. Such corresponding banner advertising 64-2 appears in the corresponding homepage 42 till removed by the master server 40. If the owner of the corresponding homepage additionally selects the banner advertisements 64-1 by the constant number, the corresponding banner advertisements 64-1 are automatically inserted in the banner advertising area 65 of his own homepage 42.
Thereafter, the visitor 44 connects with the corresponding homepage 42 and clicks a banner advertising 64-2 for the infant's goods in the banner advertising area 65, then the visitor 44 is connected with the master server 40 through information of the corresponding homepage's owner, to thereby receive an introduction service for the infant's goods corresponding to the banner advertising 64-2.
At this time, the master server 40 questions the visitor 44 to check whether the visitor will purchase the corresponding infant's goods or not, and if the visitor 44 wants to purchase the infant's goods, the visitor 44 describes his/her name and address etc. required by the master server 40 and pays the price of the corresponding infant's goods through the electronic settlement. Subsequently, the master server superintendent informs the supplier of infant's goods of the sale for the corresponding infant's goods, and the supplier of infant's goods transfers the corresponding infant's goods paid through the electronic settlement to the reported address of the visitor 44. After that, the supplier of the corresponding infant's goods pays a part of its sale profits to the owner of the homepage in which the corresponding banner advertising 64-2 is inserted.
As afore-mentioned, in accordance with the present invention, in an internet advertising method through a client homepage there is a specific master server for performing an advertising management including works to receive advertising orders and insert the advertisements therein, instead of a direct management in a client homepage having an insertion of the advertisement. Accordingly the inventive method has an effect of easily inserting an internet advertising in a client homepage, that is, an effect that a visitor of the client homepage can contact the advertisements through the client homepages though an actual advertising exists in the master server. In addition, a owner of homepage to register a banner advertising for his/her own homepage selects his/her desired banner advertisements by the constant number among numerous banner advertisements classified by respective categories and registered for the master server, whereby the banner advertisements are automatically inserted in his/her own homepage. Thus the banner advertising can be inserted not only in a homepage having the many connection number but also in a separate homepage possessed into an individual or group. Further the inventive method has an advantage of curtailing advertising expenses since a part of profits for sold goods instead of the connection number with the corresponding banner advertising is paid to the owner of homepage even though the banner advertisements for the goods sale are inserted in a plural number of homepages.
It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and variations can be made in the present invention without deviating from the spirit or scope of the invention. Thus, it is intended that the present invention cover the modifications and variations of this invention provided they come within the scope of the appended claims and their equivalents.
