Abstract

An induction loop for the earpiece of a mobile phone, for example. According to the invention, induction is provided by planar conductor spirals (1, 2), which are arranged in at least two layers (3, 4) and connected in series, the direction of rotation of which on the different layers (3, 4) being the same.

Claims

1. An induction loop, by which induction is provided by planar conductor spirals (1, 2), which as connected in series are arranged on at least two layers (3, 4), and the direction of rotation of which on the different layers (3, 4) is the same, and which planar conductor spirals (1, 2) are implemented in the layers (3, 4) by a multilayer circuit board technology, characterized in that the multilayer solution of the planar conductor spirals (1, 2) comprises selectively an even or odd number of layers.

An induction loop according to Claim 1, characterized in that on the upper layer (3) of two superimposed layers (3, 4), where there is a first planar conductor spiral (1), the radius of curvature of the conductor spiral (1) decreases continuously, beginning from the outermost conductor cycle of the first conductor spiral (1) and ending at the innermost conductor cycle of the first conductor spiral (1), and that on the lower layer (4) of two superimposed layers (3, 4), which comprises a second planar conductor spiral (2), the radius of curvature of the second conductor spiral (2) increases continuously, beginning from the innermost conductor cycle of the second conductor spiral (2) and ending at the outermost conductor cycle of the second conductor spiral 2.

An induction loop according to Claim 1 and/or 2, characterized in that each cycle of the conductor spiral (1, 2), preferably coming at least two cycles or loops, is integrated durectly to a circuit board (3, 4) for a hearing aid or earpiece of a mobile device, such as a mobile phone, radio, CD or tape player or a like.
4. An induction loop according to any of the preceding Claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a surface finishing of a circuit board (3, 4) and a conductor spiral (1,2) is provided by painting.
5. An induction loop according to any of the preceding Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the conductor spiral (1. 2) provides a good frequency response.
6. An induction loop according to any of the preceding Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that that the minor inductance of the conductor spiral (1, 2) enables an undistorted broadband frequency response.
7. An induction loop according to any of the preceding Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that that small number of cycles of the planar conductor spiral (1, 2) provides good immunity to the connection of electromagnetic interference, and that the conductor spiral (1, 2) has high immunity to interference.
