Abstract

The invention concerns a method for controlling the condition of a cell (A1 AN) in a set (1) of batteries which consists in: placing on each cell a control device (2-1 2-N), enabling to produce a condition information, said devices being connected to a central processing unit (4) by a plastic-type optical fibre ring (5). It consists in a method for communicating through the ring using a token-access technique and an asynchronous transmission protocol. A condition information comprises in particular a voltage value and a temperature value, a warning system reacting to a specific variation in the measured values.
