Abstract

La présente invention concerne un programmateur pour un réseau de télécommunications qui, en mode de fonctionnement, utilise une trame de temps fixe répétitive, stocke (701) les paquets de données entrants, et détermine (702) le temps d'expiration de ces paquets de données. Les paquets de données sont classés par ordre de priorité puis chargés dans les trames de temps respectives en fonction de l'ordre d'émission des trames. Pour chaque trame de temps, on obtient un sous-ensemble de paquets de données qui contient les paquets dont le temps d'expiration est le plus long. Le sous-ensemble présente un certain nombre de positions qui est inférieur aux nombre total de positions dans la trame, de préférence moins de 50 % de la trame totale.
