Abstract
Ein Verfahren zur Verbesserung der Leistung einer Brennstoffzelle, insbesondere einer Brennstoffzelle für den mobilen Einsatz, bei der anodenseitig (2) ein unter Druck verdichtetes Brennstoffgas zugeführt und das entstehende Anodenrestgas (3) unter Ausnutzung seines Brennwertes abgeführt wird, bei dem ferner kathodenseitig (8) unter gleichem Druck verdichtete Luft als Oxidationsgas zugeführt wird, wobei die Luft vor der Verdichtung aufgeheizt (19) und nach der Verdichtung auf die Betriebstemperatur der Brennstoffzelle gekühlt wird, wobei zumindest ein Teil der Kühlleistung zur Abkühlung der verdichteten Luft durch Eindüsen von Wasser (20) aufgebracht wird, und das entstehende Kathodenrestgas (9) abgeführt wird.
