Abstract
Selon l'invention, le dispositif d'épuration des gaz d'échappement provenant d'un moteur à combustion interne comprend des neutralisateurs (1(1), 1(2), ...., 1(n)) reliés entre eux par des tubes (6, 5) de manière à former un circuit d'épuration multiple des gaz d'échappement. Les neutralisateurs (1(1), 1(2), ...., 1(n)) sont disposés à une certaine distance les uns des autres, de manière à ce que leurs catalyseurs (9) soient séparés par une distance sélectionnée en fonction de la puissance du moteur à combustion interne. Chacun des neutralisateurs (1(1), 1(2), ...., 1(n)) contient un corps constitué de deux parties fendues à cône tronqué (2, 3) comportant des douilles cylindriques (4, 5) accueillant les tubes d'admission et d'échappement (6, 7). Un éjecteur est disposé sur la douille cylindrique (4) du côté du tube d'admission (6), et un catalyseur (9) est installé à l'endroit du raccordement des parties fendues (2, 3) du corps, le diamètre dudit catalyseur (9) étant plus de 3,5 fois supérieur à celui du tube d'admission (6). Tous les neutralisateurs (1(1), 1(2), ...., 1(n)), à l'exception du dernier dans le sens de l'écoulement des gaz d'échappement, comportent des répartiteurs des flux de gaz d'échappement (10), installés derrière les catalyseurs (9) et devant les tubes d'échappement (7).
