Definitions
- the present invention relates to newly discovered use of analgesics, more specifically, to digestive and medicines for expectorating and transdermal therapeutic system using the same for more effective treatment of physical pain in every part of the body by applying the analgesics to a palm, the typical acupuncture region of the body, or part of the hands.
- dermatological analgesics is applied directly to the body like legs, arms, shoulders and waste, and oral solution or injection has been used for headache, toothache and pains in the internal organs.
- the analgesics is known to relieve the pain by hindering cyclogenase's action and suppressing prostarglandme' s formation.
- the inventor thought that besides this biochemical function mechanism for killing pains, the analgesics might be able to stimulate nervous system.
- the inventor discovered a new method for relieving pains by applying the analgesics to particular spots of the hand, corresponding to the hand acupuncture' s points.
- Soo i-chim or ⁇ Koryo Hand Acupuncture' is a therapy, which was introduced by a Korean, Tae-Woo Yoo, M.D., whose study began m 1971 and was completed in 1975.
- a hand is like a miniature of a human body, therefore, basically each site of all internal organs can be traced down on the surface of the hand.
- a weak stimulus to the some parts of the hand corresponding to a human body's 14 GheeMa ck (pulses) and 345 Hyoul (points ) , and 5 Gee (fingers) can be transmitted to the internal organs, and the functions therein can be controlled in order to prevent, check and treat any form of diseases.
- the operation of the hand acupuncture is very easy to perform and its effect shows immediately with no side effects, thus it can be taught to any one and practiced as a home treatment
- the inventor haS found that the conventional analgesics, when applied to a palm or some parts of the hand, not only relieved pains of the internal organs remarkably and immediately, but also treated indigestion, expectoration and hemorrhoid. Therefore, the present invention discloses a use of analgesics as digestive and medicines for expectorating and hemorrhoid.
- analgesics for faster relief of pains of the body by applying the conventional dermatological analgesics, not to the localized region, but to a palm or particular parts of the hand, is provided.
- the analgesic is selected from a group consisting of Salicylate derivatives, Phenylpropionic acid derivatives, Indole derivatives, Phenylacetic acid derivatives, Pyrazolone derivatives, Oxycam derivatives, Aniline derivatives and Anthranilic acid derivatives.
- analgesics by the present invention when the analgesic is applied to R, T, V, X, ⁇ and ⁇ of Fig. 5 m a form of either ointment or gel, t immediately penetrates the skin and stimulates corresponding nervous system, which rapidly stimulates corresponding digestive organs m turn.
- the stimulus via nervous system activates digestive fluid secretion and thereby it helps the patient be able to digest properly ana normally.
- Another discovered use of analgesics by the invention involves hemorrhoid.
- the analgesics is applied to region ⁇ of Fig. 4 and region Z of Fig. 5 respectively.
- analgesics rapidly penetrates the skin and stimulates nervous system and eventually anus. Therefore, the pains caused by hemorrhoid can be relieved. Also, it was observed that when the analgesic is continuously applied to corresponding part of the hand to the organ, no more hemorrhoid was created but suppressed instead, and the size thereof was greatly reduced until it was completely gone.
- analgesics can be used as a medicine for expectoration according to the present invention. To this end, the analgesic is applied to region K of Fig.4 and region Q of Fig. 5 respectively.
- the analgesic rapidly penetrates the skin and stimulates nervous system and lastly the bronchus. In result, the bronchus clogged by bronchus secretion gets gradually perforated, and as phlegm gets resolved inside the body or coughed out, expectorating is naturally carried out.
- the present invention also provides external application use compositions which contains analgesic and can be utilized as digestive and medicines for expectorating and hemorrhoid by applying to a palm or particular parts of the hand, thereby seeking for relieving pains in the whole body.
- compositions for external application use only preferably takes a form of ointment, cream or gel for coating the skin, and if necessary, it can be formulated into ointment, cream or gel .
- the ointment compositions of the present invention can be prepared by mixing the various analgesics above with bases after following the manufacturing process for the typical ointment, cream or gel.
- Figure 1 to Figure 2 show body function-controlling 345 pain points or treatment points on a palm
- Figure 3 is a schematic diagram showing corresponding parts of the body to the hand according to the hand acupuncture theory
- Figure 4 to Figure 5 show particular regions where the analgesics of the invention is applied.
- the analgesic when the analgesic is applied or coats the particular parts of the hand corresponding to aching parts of the body, shown m Fig.4 and Fig.5, it was confirmed that the pain was relieved promptly. And, at the same time, remarkable improvement was observed among the patents suffering from indigestion and hemorrhoid, and further expectorating effect was also obtained.
- the applicable amount of the analgesic to be used is as much as it covers 2-5cm of diameter around the pain point or region.
- the present invention provides an analgesic containing transdermal therapeutic system effective as digestive and medicines for expectorating and hemorrhoid.
- the conventional manufacturing method can be employed, with the only difference of that the transdermal therapeutic system of the present invention uses analgesics as medicine.
- Figure 1 shows body function-controlling 345 pain points or treatment points on a palm according to the hand acupuncture theory
- Figure 2 shows body function-controlling 345 pain points or treatment points on the back of the hand according to the hand acupuncture theory
- Figure 3 is a schematic diagram showing corresponding parts of the body to the hand according to the hand acupuncture theory
- FIG. 4a to 4e show particular regions where the analgesics of the invention is applied.
- Figure 5a to 5c show particular regions where the analgesics of the invention is applied.
- the analgesic effect of the invention was put on a clinical testing on patients suffering from pain in various parts of the body, performed by Drefers M.D. (Nymphenburgstr . 151, 80636 Munchen) and Rofler M.D. (Nymphenburgstr. 108a, 80636 Munchen) of the hospital in Munchen, Germany, applying the analegic to corresponding regions of the hand to find out the effects of the analgesic on the pain.
- Dignodolin® (Fluphenamic acid, manufactured and distributed by Sankyo Pama Arlingtonmbeha) was used.
- Nivea cream manufactured by Beiersdorf, was used replacing for an analgesic. In this case, patients felted that no improvement on pain was made.
- Dr. D refers from a hospital in Munchen, Germany, the identical analgesic, Dignodolin®, as in the Example 1, was applied to a male patient in his 20s' hand, especially the regions K and Q m Fig.4, who was suffering from bronchus phlegm.
- the patient enjoyed the expectorating effect within 5 minutes after the analgesic was applied. He was specially satisfied with the exceeding result compared to other therapies available.
- Nivea cream instead of the analgesic was applied, no expectorating effects were observed.
- Example 3 Digestive Effects With help from Dr. Drefers from a hospital m Munchen, Germany, the identical analgesic, Dignodolin®, as in the Example 1, was applied a female patient n her 60s' hand especially to the regions R, T, V, X, ⁇ and ⁇ of Fig. 5 respectively, who was suffering from indigestion. The patient informed that the problem was cured immediately after the analgesic was applied. On the other hand, to the patient where Nivea cream instead of the analgesic was applied, the same result was not obtained.
- Dr. D refers from a hospital m Munchen, Germany, the identical analgesic, Dignodolin®, as in the Example 1, was applied a male patient in his 30s' hand especially to the region ⁇ of Fig. 4 and the region Z of Fig. 5 respectively, who was suffering from hemorrhoid. After several times of trials, the patient gladly reported that the hemorrhoid region was remarkably improved and the result was much better than other therapies available.
- the analgesic of the present invention is distinguished from the conventional analgesics in that it coats the skin directly, thereby relieving the pain faster and safer. Even when a small amount of the analgesic is applied to the particular parts of the hand, it is effective for treating indigestion and hemorrhoid and results in expectorating effect, with no need of other supplementary medicines.
- the invention may be easily operated and more utilized in industries.
