Abstract

The invention relates to a workstation (1) comprising a work surface (3) and means (2) for accommodating technical devices which can be connected to technical devices of other workstations (1). According to the invention, each workstation (1) is provided with means (40) enabling mechanical coupling with other workstations (1) and at least one interface (30, 31), which is used to transmit information to the technical devices of the other workstations (1), and/or an electricity supply. The workstations can be mechanically integrated into and hooked up by means of information technology to a workstation system (100).
