Abstract

L'invention concerne un terminal mobile amorçant automatiquement une désinscription à la suite d'un événement déclencheur associé à un changement potentiel d'identité. Dans un premier mode de réalisation, le terminal mobile amorce une désinscription en réaction à la détection de la mise en correspondance fonctionnelle d'un module d'inscription avec le terminal mobile. En réaction à la désinscription, le réseau de télécommunications associé effectue une mise à jour de ses enregistrements de manière à faire paraître que l'abonnement associé n'est plus inscrit dans le système en question, préparant ainsi le réseau à l'inscription du dispositif de télécommunications constitué par le terminal mobile et le module d'abonnement correspondant. Dans d'autres modes de réalisation, l'événement déclencheur n'est pas l'installation d'un module d'abonnement mais la suppression d'un tel module. La désinscription peut utiliser les protocoles système existants des réseaux de télécommunications de manière à permettre le fonctionnement du procédé sans modifier la programmation existante du réseau. Le procédé de l'invention convient particulièrement aux réseaux utilisant des algorithmes d'authentification SSD (données secrètes partagées) partagés.
