Verfahren zur Datenverarbeitung in einem Rundfunkempfänger, wobei ein Softwareelement in den Rundfunkempfänger geladen wird, wobei mit den Rundfunksignalen Programmdaten übertragen werden, wobei aus den Programmdaten im Rundfunkempfänger Programme zusammengesetzt werden, wobei mittels des Softwareelements die Programme ausgeführt werden und wobei der Rundfunkempfänger mit Gebern und/oder mindestens einer Datenempfangseinrichtung verbunden ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Daten, die von den Gebern oder der mindestens einen Datenempfangseinrichtung bereitgestellt werden, von den Programmen über Schnittstellen des Softwareelements geladen werden, wobei die mindestens eine Datenempfangseinrichtung zum Empfang von Daten eingesetzt wird, die insbesondere mit den Rundfunksignalen empfangen werden, daß die geladenen Daten von den Programmen ausgewertet werden und daß damit ein Ablauf der Programme mittels der Daten gesteuert wird.1.
