Description

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION DOOR LOCK SYSTEM
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a method for controlling a fingerprint identification door lock system, and in particular to a method for controlling a fingerprint identification door lock system which is capable of separately storing a normal state fingerprint and an alarm state fingerprint into a system, so that when a user is forced to open a door by others(for example, burglar), the user inputs a fingerprint corresponding to the previously stored alarm state fingerprint, and thus the door opens, and at the same time, the alarm state is reported to a police station via an emergency connection network, for thereby enhancing the reliability of a fingerprint identification door lock system.
BACKGROUND ART
In an advanced society, in order to prevent an information of a company or home from being transferred to others, only authorized persons are permitted to enter the company.
As one of the methods for implementing the above-described purposes, a door security system is intensively studied.
The above-described door security system is generally classified into a lock system and a fingerprint identification lock system.
In the fingerprint identification lock system, a user's fingerprint is registered into a memory. In this state, when a user opens a door, the user's stored fingerprint is inputted into the system and is identified by the system. If the inputted fingerprint is matched with the previously registered fingerprint, the door opens. Otherwise, the door does not open.
The current fingerprint identification door lock system is a 1 : 1 door lock system. In this system, a user inputs a password and stores a fingerprint corresponding to the inputted password.
In the above-descried 1 :1 door lock system, since a key pad having an additional fingerprint registration function, deletion function, etc. is installed outside the door, if others know the operation method of the door lock system, the others can input a corresponding fingerprint and can easily open the door.
In addition, in the current door lock system, since the number of fingerprint registrations is limited, in the case that there is a large, the family is limited to register only one fingerprint. In this case, if the registered fingerprint is hurt, it is impossible to open the door using the hurt fingerprint. In the above-described conventional door lock system, in the case that a user is forced to open the door by others, since the user inputs a wrong fingerprint which is not matched with the previously registered fingerprint, the door does not open, so that the user can be in a dangerous situation. In this case, the user unwillingly opens the door. Therefore, if the door is forcibly opened by others, it is needed to report the emergency state to a police station via an emergency connection network. At this time, the others should not know the report to the police station.
DISCLOSURE OF THE INVENTION Accordingly, it is an object of the present invention to provide a fingerprint identification door lock system which is capable of separately storing a normal state fingerprint and an alarm state fingerprint, so that when a user is forced to open the door, the user inputs a certain fingerprint which is matched with the previously stored alarm state fingerprint, and thus the forced door open is reported to a police station. It is another object of the present invention to provide a fingerprint identification door lock system which is capable of preventing any illegal action by a user, for example, a house owner) by programming the system to reload a certain data during a certain period, when the data is deleted from the door lock system, by storing the deleted data into a memory as a data file. In this state, the deleted data is completely deleted from the memory after a certain period.
It is another object of the present invention to provide a fingerprint identification door lock system which is capable of operating a door lock system by externally inserting an emergency battery via an emergency battery connection terminal when a battery of a door lock system is not changed in time due to a long time tour for thereby normally operating the door system. In the case that the battery is damaged, an emergency card containing a user password may be used via a service center for thereby opening the door.
To achieve the above objects, there is provided a method for controlling a fingerprint identification door lock system which includes the steps of a first step for judging whether a button input is done inside or outside the door lock system when a door lock driving start button is pressed, a second step for performing a corresponding operation in accordance with a mode key which is inputted in the next routine as a result of the judgement, a third step for judging whether the inputted fingerprint corresponds to a normal state fingerprint or to an alarm state fingerprint in the case that the button is pressed outside the door lock system as a result of the judgement, and a fourth step for opening the door in the case of the normal state fingerprint and performing an alarm state operation in the case of the alarm state fingerprint as a result of the judgement.
Additional advantages, objects and features of the invention will become more apparent from the description which follows.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given hereinbelow and the accompanying drawings which are given by way of illustration only, and thus are not limitative of the present invention, and wherein: Figure 1 is a view illustrating the construction of a fingerprint identification door lock system according to the present invention; and Figures 2 A and 2B are views illustrating a method for controlling a fingerprint identification door lock system according to the present invention.
MODES FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The embodiments of the present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Figure 1 is a view illustrating a door lock driving block according to the present invention which includes a fingerprint identification window 1 for identifying a user's fingerprint, an optical lens 2 for transmitting the fingerprint identified by the fingerprint identification window 1 to a programmable logic device 3, a programmable logic device 3 for processing the fingerprint transmitted from the optical lens as a data, an external terminal connection unit 7 used for a signal transmission for controlling the driving operation of the fingerprint identification door lock system as a communication access unit with an external communication unit, a CPU 4 for controlling the operation of each unit, a flash memory 5 for storing a control logic performed in the CPU 4, a DRAM 6 for storing the data-processed fingerprint, an inner key pad 8 having function keys used by a user when performing a function of the door lock system, and an external key pad 9 having numeral keys used when a user inputs a fingeφrint and password. The operation of the fingeφrint identification door lock system according to the present invention will be explained with reference to the accompanying drawings. A user inputs a password using the key pad 8 which is inputted when storing a user's fingeφrint and inputs a fingeφrint into the fingeφrint identification window 1. The fingeφrint inputted via the fingeφrint identification window 1 which identified the inputted fingeφrint is inputted into the programmable logic device via the optical lens 2.
The programmable logic device 3 processes the inputted fingeφrint and transmits a data corresponding thereto to the CPU 4, and the CPU 4 receives an authorization from the master when operating the function of the door and judges whether the password of the master and the fingeφrint are matched. If matched, the function of the door is performed. When opening the door outside the door, the password and fingeφrint of a user are inputted. If the inputted password and fingeφrint are matched with the stored password and fingeφrint. a door driving signal is outputted to the external terminal connection unit 7 for thereby controlling the door to open. At this time, the password is selected for opening the door using only the fingeφrint and using only the fingeφrint and password based on a user's selection. In the case that the password is not inputted, the numeral key pad installed outside the door is not needed. Namely, when inputting only the fingeφrint, the door is opened. The processes for separately storing an alarm state fingeφrint and normal state fingeφrint and an emergency connection process according to the present invention will be explained. The operation for inputting a password outside the door will be omitted.
In the fingeφrint identification door lock system according to the present invention, in Step S 1 , it is checked whether a battery voltage is higher or lower than a certain voltage. If the battery voltage is lower than the current certain voltage, the system becomes a standby mode for an exchange of the battery in Step S2. If the battery voltage is higher than the same, the system becomes a standby mode for receiving a key input by a user's operation. When a driving start button of the fingeφrint identification door lock system is pressed, it is judged whether the key is inputted inside the door lock or outside the door lock. If inputted inside the door lock, the step S3 corresponding to the key value which is inputted later is performed. If the key is inputted outside the door lock, the step S4 is performed based on whether the key is inputted in the alarm state or the normal state.
The step S2 will be explained in detail. As a result of the voltage check, if the current voltage is lower than the set voltage, the door lock system is not operated. At this time, the user does a certain action in accordance with the state of the door lock system. If the currently checked voltage is near the set voltage, in the door lock system, a user is informed that it is time to exchange the battery. At this time, the user exchanges the battery. If the user did not hear the message, it is possible to exchange the battery inside the door. If the user is out from the home for long time and is back, it is possible to unlock the door by accessing the battery via the emergency battery connection terminal installed outside the door lock.
At this time, in the door lock apparatus, it is judged whether there is a certain damage in the battery. In a state that there is not damage, if the emergency battery is connected, the normal door lock function is performed. Namely, the door is opened and closed based on the fingeφrint identification in Step S22.
As a result of the check for damage, if damaged, the system becomes a standby mode for receiving an emergency card access. At this time, if the door lock system does not operate by accessing the emergency battery, the user contacts a service center and receives the emergency card. The user access the system using the emergency card and inputs a previously stored secret code. When the secret code is inputted, the door opens for thereby exchanging the damaged battery in Step S23.
The secret code is known by only the user. The service center does not know the secret code for preventing an unauthorized use of the emergency card by the service center.
The step S3 in which the door lock driving start button is inputted inside the system will be explained in detail.
It is judged whether what key is inputted after the driving start button. If the key corresponds to the open key, it is judged whether the current open mode is in the all time open state mode in Step S31.
As a result of the judgement, if the mode is the all time open state mode, the door is opened. If the mode is not the all time open state mode, since the mode is "the password open mode", the password is required. At this time, when the password is inputted, the door is opened in Step S32.
After the door lock driving start button is pressed, if the inputted key is the key corresponding to the main master registration, the fingeφrint of the main master is inputted. The normal state fingeφrint and the alarm state fingeφrint are inputted and registered into the memory in Step S33. After the door lock driving start button is pressed, if the inputted key corresponds to an additional fingeφrint registration, the fingeφrints of the users are registered under an authorization by the main master. At this time, the normal state fingeφrint and the alarm state fingeφrint are registered, respectively, in Step S34. After the door lock driving start button is pressed, if the inputted key corresponds to a deletion key(Figure 2B), the selected data is deleted in Step S35. In this case, the data is not completely removed. Namely, the deleted data are stored as a deletion file in Step S36.
Thereafter, the stored date is counted. After a certain time is elapsed, the data is completely removed in Step S37. The data is not directly deleted by the master. Namely, the data is stored as a certain file for a certain period for the reason that the master may be illegally connected with others, so that the fingeφrint of another user(illegal user) may be registered, and it is possible to delete the fingeφrint of the another user(illegal user). In this case, after a certain illegal action is performed, a police man may judge that the master received a certain damage.
After the door lock driving start button is pressed, if the inputted key is a key corresponding to the key set mode, the key value is inputted based on the mode set by the user. In the future, if only the key value is inputted, the door lock system changes the current mode to the mode corresponding to the key value.
If the key value is m, the mode is set to the automatic locking mode, and if the key value is m+1, the mode is set to the manual locking mode, and if the key value is m+2, the mode is set to the simple opening mode, and if the key value is m+3, the mode is set to the password opening mode, and if the key value is m+4, the mode is set to the entire deletion mode, and if the key value is m+5, the mode is set to the data selection mode, and if the key value is m+6, the mode is set to the fingeφrint identification level adjusting mode. The mode designated by the user is set based on the remaining values m+n in Step S38.
At this time, the fingeφrint identification level adjusting mode is the mode for determining whether a certain verification mode is performed or not when a user identifies his fingeφrint.
After the door lock driving start button is pressed, if the key is erroneously inputted, a certain alarm or key tone is generated for informing a wrong key input in Step S39. The step S4 in which the door lock driving start button is externally inputted will be explained in detail. First, it is judged whether the inputted fingeφrint is the normal state fingerprint or the alarm state fingeφrint. As a result of the judgement, if the inputted fingerprint is the normal state fingerprint, the inputted fingeφrint is compared with the previously stored normal state fingeφrint. If matched, the door is opened in Step S41.
As a result of the judgement, if the inputted fingeφrint is the alarm state fingerprint, the inputted fingeφrint is compared to the alarm state fingeφrint. If matched, the door is opened, and the operation mode becomes a standby mode to report the above-described operation to the police station in Step S42.
Thereafter, it is judged whether the report method is performed based on a wired method or a wireless method. In the case of the wired method, a telephone call is made via the designated PSTN network. If connected, a previously set alarm message is transmitted to the police station for thereby reporting that a certain person penetrated into a house in Step S43.
As a result of the judgement, the report method is the wireless communication, the data is modulated based on a wireless frequency, and the emergency report network is connected with the wireless communication system. When the telephone call is connected, a previously set alarm message is transmitted to the police station for thereby reporting that a certain person penetrated into a house in Step S44.
In the present invention, since the user inputs a normal state fingeφrint and an alarm state fingeφrint which corresponds to a forced input of the fingeφrint are separately stored, if the door is opened by a forced manner by others, the forced door open operation is directly reported to the police station. In this case, the door is opened in a normal state so that the others can not recognize the report to the police station.
In the case that the power of the door lock system is not fully used, namely, the door is not used for a long time, the door may not be opened due to the lack of the power. In this case, a proper action is needed.
As described above, in the present invention, it is possible to increase the number of fingeφrint registrations of the door lock system and to adapt an automatic police station report system when the door is opened by a forced manner by others for thereby enhancing a stability and reliability of the door lock system. In addition, it is possible to prevent an illegal action of the user based on a data storage system during a certain period when the data are deleted from the system. Furthermore, an external emergency operation power supply is easily used, so that it is possible to implement a convenient use of the door lock system.
Although the preferred embodiment of the present invention have been disclosed for illustrative puφoses, those skilled in the art will appreciate that various modifications, additions and substitutions are possible, without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention as recited in the accompanying claims.
