Abstract

An acoustic device in the form of a loudspeaker system is described. The loudspeaker system has a plurality of distributed mode loudspeakers (1) each having a resonant bending wave panel (3) extending laterally of a principal axis (13) to define slots (11) therebetween. Exciters (5) are mounted on the panels (3).
