Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de réglage de l'inclinaison du dossier d'une chaise, comprenant un dispositif d'arrêt (9) comportant au moins deux plaques d'arrêt (10, 11) entrant en prise avec une série de fentes (14) situées dans la paroi postérieure de la partie supérieure (1) du cadre du dossier. Un levier de manoeuvre (23), destiné à fixer la hauteur de l'assise (5) de la chaise, est monté sur ladite assise (5) de manière à permettre la basculement du levier (23) autour de son axe ainsi que son déplacement le long de cet axe. Le basculement du levier (23) autour de son axe est transmis par une plaque (27) à une valve (24) du ressort à gaz situé dans la colonne (25) des pieds de la chaise. Le déplacement du levier (23) est transféré par une plaque (28) à une came (19), ce qui donne lieu à un changement de la direction du mouvement, puis à un élément de liaison (17) et à un élément guide (15) relié à l'élément de liaison (17) par un ressort (16), ainsi qu'aux plaques d'arrêt (10, 11) du dispositif d'arrêt (9). La partie supérieure (1) du cadre du dossier est reliée pivotante à la partie inférieure (2) dudit cadre au moyen d'un arbre (3) sur lequel est monté un ressort (6) forçant la partie supérieure (1) vers la partie inférieure du cadre du dossier. La partie inférieure (2) dudit cadre est montée coulissante dans un guide (4) de l'assise (5), et peut être verrouillé à l'aide d'une poignée (21).
