Abstract

The invention relates to a device comprising at least one endless belt (2, 3) consisting of steel, for example, stainless steel or chromium-plated steel, for receiving materials to be solidified. The endless belt is guided through at least one heating zone and one cooling zone and is deviated at both ends and optionally driven by a return idler (6, 6', 7, 7'). Said device also comprises a nozzle (19) which is directed towards the forming surface of the belt and can be displaced along a guide (22) transversely to the longitudinal direction of the belt, using a drive (23). The nozzle (19) has a supply line (17) for a fluid and for solid particles. A container (16) which is thermally insulated is provided for said solid particles (33) and the nozzle (19) is directed towards the belt section (3, 4) which lies on the return idler (6, 6', 7, 7'). The surface of the belt, in particular, is structured.
