Definitions
- the present invention relates to a spiral pipe used as a drainpipe or water conduit, and more particularly, to a method of bonding a spiral pipe in which adhesive resin completely wraps the surface of a rectangular profile forming an H beam shape when the spiral pipe is manufactured by a winder by wrapping resin around the rectangular profile having cavity or filled with a filler so that the spiral pipe can be bonded firmly.
- a conventional spiral pipe 1 is formed by coating adhesive resin at one side of a rectangular profile 2 having cavity, winding the profile by a winder to make the profile 2 adhere to each other, and pressing the profile by a roller to form an I beam shape.
- the adhesive resin is coated only between the neighboring profiles 2 so that an adhesive resin layer 3 having an I beam shape is formed.
- the conventional spiral profile 1 having the I beam shaped adhesive resin layer 3 only between the surfaces of the neighboring profiles 2 has a weak bonding feature. Accordingly, when an external impact is applied, a crack is generated in a boundary surface between the profile 2 and the adhesive resin layer 3 and they are broken and separated from each other. Furthermore, when the spiral pipe 1 uses as a drainpipe or water conduit is broken and separated, contaminated water permeates earth and severely soils the earth and underground water and may cause subsidence of land.
- a spiral pipe adhesion method comprising the steps of: melt-blending waste plastic by an extruding apparatus at a temperature of 180-250°C and extruding a rectangular profile, providing adhesive resin extruded from an auxiliary extruding apparatus to wrap the profile, before the profile is wound by a winder, and winding the profile wrapped by the adhesive resin around the winder, and pressing a surface of the adhesive resin coated around the outside of the wound profile so that the adhesive resin is pressed to have an H beam shape between the neighboring profiles and make the profiles adhere to each other.
- the profile according to the present invention can be applied to any of a hollow profile having a space portion inside thereof or a filled profile of which the inside is filled with a filler.
- Adhesive resin is coated forming a uniform body of the profile and the adhesive resin layer, in a manner of completely wrapping the surfaces of the neighboring profiles so that unevenness is not generated on the surface of the pipe after the adhesive resin layer is formed.
- FIG. 1 is a partially cut-away perspective view showing the appearance and sectional structure of the conventional spiral pipe
- FIG. 2 is a partially enlarged sectional view showing the adhesion structure of the conventional spiral pipe
- FIG. 3 is a partially cut-away perspective view showing the appearance and sectional structure of a spiral pipe according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 4 is a partially enlarged sectional view showing the adhesion structure of the spiral pipe according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 5 is a partially cut-away perspective view showing the appearance and sectional structure of a spiral pipe according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention
- FIG. 6 is a partially enlarged sectional view showing the adhesion structure of the spiral pipe according to another preferred embodiment of the present invention.
- FIGS. 3 through 6 are for explaining a spiral pipe adhesion method according to preferred embodiments of the present invention.
- FIGS. 3 and 4 are a partially cut-away perspective view and a partially enlarged sectional view showing the appearance and sectional structure of a spiral pipe, respectively, when the adhesion method according to the present invention is applied to a hollow profile 5.
- FIGS. 5 and 6 are a partially cutaway perspective view and a partially enlarged sectional view showing the appearance and sectional structure of a spiral pipe when the adhesion method according to the present invention is applied to a filled profile 8.
- the spiral pipe according to the present invention is formed by forming a rectangular hollow profile 5 by providing waste plastic in an extruding apparatus and forcibly extruding the material through a die having a predetermined shape.
- Melted adhesive resin is input to the inside of an additional auxiliary extruding apparatus and forcibly extruded to completely wrap the hollow profile 5.
- the hollow profile 5 coated with the adhesive resin is wound by a winder and simultaneously the surface of the adhesive resin is pressed by a roller so that the adhesive resin layer 6 forms an H beam shape.
- a profile 8 of which the inside is filled with a filler 10 may be used instead of using the hollow profile 5, a profile 8 of which the inside is filled with a filler 10 may be used.
- the adhesive resin is coated around and adheres to the surface of the profile 8 filled with the filler 10 so that the adhesive resin layer 9 can have an H beam shape.
- waste plastic and a filler such as agricultural by-product, forestry byproduct, or fly ash are used by being melt-blended. Preferred embodiments of the present invention are described in detail as follows.
- various waste plastics are melt- blended in the extruding apparatus at a melting temperature range of 180- 250°C and extruded through a rectangular die to form the hollow profile 5.
- the adhesive resin is extruded from the additional auxiliary extruding apparatus, to make the hollow profile 5 continuously wound with a predetermined diameter adhere to each other, and the hollow profile 5 is completely wrapped by the adhesive resin.
- the hollow profile 5 in such a state is provided and wound by the winder.
- the adhesive resin layer 6 adhering the hollow profile 5 of the spiral pipe 4 completely wraps the hollow profile 5 whiling forming an H beam shape, impact strength and annular rigidity coefficient are drastically improved, compared to the conventional spiral pipe 1.
- adhesive resin is extruded from the auxiliary extruding apparatus to make the filled profile 8, which is continuously wound with a predetermined diameter, adhere to each other, so that the filled profile 8 is completely wrapped by the adhesive resin.
- the filled profile 8 in the above state is provided to the winder to be wound.
- the filled profile 8, of which all surfaces are wrapped by the adhesive resin, is wound by the winder and simultaneously pressed by the roller so as to be bonded each other, the adhesive resin layer 9 between the filled profiles 8 forms an H beam shape.
- the adhesive resin layer 9 for bonding the filled profile 9 of the spiral pipe 7 forms an H beam shape to completely wrap the filled profile 8, so that impact strength and annular rigidity coefficient can be drastically improved, compared to the conventional spiral pipe 1.
- the spiral pipe is formed by wrapping the profile, which is formed by the extruding apparatus by melt-blending materials, and pressing the adhesive resin between the neighboring profiles to make the profiles adhere to each other.
- the adhesive resin layer bonds the profiles in an H beam shape, so that a spiral pipe formed of a uniform body of the profile and the adhesive resin is provided.
- the spiral pipe is formed in a uniform body while maintaining an H beam shape, the adhesion force is drastically improved, compared to the conventional pipe. As a result, the spiral pipe can well bear external pressure, static load and dynamic load and the impact resistance and annular rigidity coefficient are drastically improved. Since sludge is not accumulated in the pipe, drainpipe clogging can be prevented.
